Baloney! People don't come to the US for free handouts. Those handouts are more difficult to get than you think. You can't stroll across the border and walk into a welfare office and get a benefits card.
People come to the US for work, and there's not enough jobs on the bottom end of the economic ladder to support an open door policy. The US job market is already bottom heavy with unskilled workers, and those are the only people who would be flooding into the US if there were no immigration policies. If you remove all social safety nets then the US will quickly devolve into the same sort of third world sh!thole many of those people escaped from - vast numbers of unemployed living in total abject poverty. Those people will leave, alright, but only after going back home looks more attractive than staying in the US. Personally, I don't want to live in that America, and I would greatly appreciate if our lawmakers don't take any further steps to make America like that.

Pfft switch careers. My jobs are hardly careers, mainly because my parents were working stiffs like me who couldn't save for college for their kids, and I'm not willing to go tens of thousands of dollars into debt in student loans to get a job where I don't earn enough to pay them off. I'm not chasing your bullsh1t "American Dream"- I'm trying to put food on the table.
Basically what you're saying is that rich people have a greater right to healthcare than poor people. That's what it boils down to. And that's exactly what's wrong with this country. You jackholes in the 10% feel like you're more human than us 90% because you're wealthy. You're all just one bad day on Wall Street away from being poor like the rest of us. God forbid you find yourself in my shoes. Damn, I hope when the next Great Depression starts, all you rich fuxtards throw yourselves out of windows like the last time.

Finally! Thank you to all my VJ friends who were supportive of me during this difficult wait, Channah, Michele, Dumb/Dumber, Charlize, Tacia, and so, so, many more of you who expressed your kind words of support and your prayers for us during these past ten months.
Now, hopefully the rest of the process goes smoothly and QUICKLY!

IMO dont include it.. the only thing that it shows the CO is that she is relying on you financially... read through some of the VN regional discussions as this has been a topic of a few but from the interview standpoint when one is expected to show proof of ongoing... at the initial petition there is no requirement to show proof of ongoing only that you have met in person in the past two years...

"What I think" and "fact" should not be used in the same sentence. It's an "either" or an "or" structure. So if I am reading this correctly, the entire post is a what you think is happen.

I think envy the people going usa to canada. Here I'm going usa to jordan or philippines (if she goes back home). I think the distance plays a small part into our decision to get married after one trip. We are all about killing the distance. However we have been together almost a year. I'm 32 and she is 26 and are deeply in love with each other. We know besides us not being related in anyway it is almost like we're twins from the things we like, the way we think, and the things we want in our lives. At this point we know we are ready and want to get married. I also embrace this distance a bit too because I know it will make us stronger as a couple but I know we both would like to get to the point where we don't have to be apart anymore. At the same time we know we can make this decision and never look back.
