I am sorry about the situation but no woman/man is worth giving up your kids. That is selfish of her to ask.

Wow Murysa, what an amazing amount of accomplishment in a short period of time! You should be so proud of yourself!
I am so glad he lied on that custody thing, so now he has made a bad name for himself and all the other lies will unravel.
I am very happy for you, and your report brought a tear to my eye. Keep up the awesome work and take care of yourself.

Mi smo se u medjuvremenu pripremali za intervju, prikupljali papire, ali mislim da je pomoglo i to sto sam ja poslovno puno putovala pa sam imala priliku da posecujem verenika u Srbiji vise puta.

I am a USC through neutralization, I came here at the age of 11 and didn't know a thing about blakc/white/spanish/etc. I soon learned while attending JR High. My friends would talk about white people as if i was some other color and their excuse would be oh youre not white you're European. At 11 i really just wanted to fit in but now when I think about it it hurts but I understand that that was the mind process of young children who at the time might have not known better. Mind you I live in NYC in one of the most diverse boroughs where over 50 different languages are spoken and heard walking down a busy street. But you have ignorance everywhere and here in the US i think the main problem is lack of geographical location as well as lack of knowledge. I've had people tell me they hate immigrants yet this country was and is made up of immigrants. People to this day call me Russian because they have no clue that Serbia isn't Siberia or even close to Russia. In the end after almost 14 years here I have learned to live with rude comments and enjoy the good ones. I am proud to be Serbian and I am proud to be an American I love living here and I also love being from Serbia. I love being able to speak Serbian, English, and some what broken Spanish and without NYC I don't think I ever would have.
I should add that Serbia isn't any better when it comes to racisam or ignorance. I am Serbian but was born in Croatia and to Serbians even if I made my own home and was rich I would still be looked at as a refugee who used the system. I have told them pleanty of times that we should of switched sides they live in the camps i lived in and I live in a home to see which is nicer. The Gypsies or properly said Romes live a very horrible life sometimes due to racisam in Serbia. Than on the other hand in Serbia people can have schools in their own languages which you dont see here. You have Romanian schools, Albanian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, etc. Oh and a lot of them dislike America but would love to come live here.

What is the big deal if they do look at your facebook? Mine is set on private for everyone except my friends and family but if they ever asked for my password i probably wouldn't have minded giving it to them because it would just confirm a 100 percent that my relationship was true and that I have nothing to hide.

I did the cr1 visa since we were six months shy of our 2 year Aniversery, it took us 10 months due to an rfe and me being slow and doing things last minute other wise it would of been a little faster. But in my opinion it was the better and cheaper option because all we have to do is adjust for the 2year green card to a 10year next year. And he got his card in less than a month that he was here.

Get your arrest record from the police first and than you will see if you need to put it or not. Because if they just put you in the car and than let you go it means they probably didnt file any charges at that point. An arrest to me at least is when they take you to the precint and book you.

I think this thread has gone on for too long without anything productive being done besides trying to figure out if it's try or not and her defending her self. With that said the OP wants to know how and if she should put that she was arrested since its not on her record? I believe that you need to say yes to that question and that it should also ask if you were convicted where you should state no since the charges were dropped. You should also add a letter explaining what happened but don't make it too long or personal also if you can get a hold of the police report and a court certificate stating you have no record it would be great. I'm just stating what I would do since I am not a professional and haven't been in your situation.

Dana-Mića reacted to forever waiting in I guess all the ppl in the world love american, eh!
I disagree. It's exactly this attitude, Americans thinking that America is the "new world" make most people hate America and/or Americans. I believe its simply called love and when two people are in love they plan their life together and decide which one is the best for them. I know hundreds of people who married American citizens and came to the US and they miss their motherland terribly. They spend fortunes going back and forth to visit their parents, siblings and loved ones.
I also would like to set it straight, that not all US Citizens are native Americans. Most US citizens here you see, are marrying from Pakistan, India, Turkey, Africa or whatever are actually just marrying their natives.
At one time being an American was an exception. It is no more. Not after bombing of all those lands in the name of democracy.
I would stop thinking that being in America was so hot. It is not!
Mostly everyone here is just looking for a soul-mate and hoping that they found the right one.
There are some just doing it maybe to get away from their poverty stricken countries. But think about it, if you were British they would do it to go to GB, or German they'd do it to go to Germany and it goes on. This should not make you think that America is hot, This makes me think that the lives and cultures in other countries and how they must cope with life having just enough to get by or not having anything at all. This is not an excuse for their lies but this gives us something to think about and try to pick the right person.
I also read many posts here where American men kept choosing foreign women to marry. Some admitted that they filed, once, twice, three times. All for fiancees from other countries. If the first two didn't work out, why did they do it again third time?
Doesn't this make you wonder why American men turn elsewhere?
    I am curious.

I think I need to move to the UK. It seems several people are able to take 80-180 day vacations. Here in the USA the average annual vacation is 2 weeks. So anyone who claims to be on Holiday for 80 days raises suspicion.
