Totally off subject guys, but I've been trying to see if there has been any update on our case. All I'm getting is a website can not be displayed message. Anyone else having this issue or is it my internet??
Thanks!

Hey guys just wanted to check the website from uscis again and it doesn't let me!
Seems like another maintenance problem! Or updates for the cases....
Good luck to everybody!
I tried checking too and it kept saying system error

The IRS sends each year's transcript individually. If you ordered 3 different year transcripts you will get 3 different pieces of mail from the IRS, each one containing a different year's transcript. Sounds like you just got 1 year so far...the rest should follow shortly.
Thanks! I finally did receive all the transcripts

yea I think mine might have been 4 pages... front and back.. you know.. several
Thanks Stevie B! I can quit panicking now

Hey Budy your are getting balistic...... slow down your chance will be on April 2014 too early perhaps for that time everything change .... unless you have connections.\
We are in the same boat. and they being killing me all the way. Technically mine will be NOA 3 because the NOA 2 was my transfer to Texas. imaging just to move my case to Texas from Vermount 89 Days . like I say get a pillow, a confirtable recliner, order all the TV games season package and let days pass by.
I going back to Colombia next month to keep the heat on between my Fiance and I. this is my 5 th visit and every time is awesome experience it help to mitigate this enless waiting time.
Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between March 30, 2014 and April 23, 2014*.
Do not worry too much about your taxes ... your could be 2013 made in 2014 any how good luck !!
Hahaha well since I'm a girl, I just always think ahead. I don't have enough vacation time to get to spend with my husband otherwise I definitely would. Are you doing the I-130 process or the K1? Sorry just curious:)
-
yip I am with darnell each year for me was several pages
Well it was a total of like 3 pages for 1 year and but it was front and back. Mhmm so now I'm confused as to which one I was suppose to check when ordering them ;/

Call back and speak to a tier 2 and get it corrected.
Thanks I'm just now reading this.....I will get on that ASAP!
yeah I agree with nlr.. . call back and speak with a tier2/IO
after your transferred use the auto call back system so you don't have to wait on hold
When I do call back do I just ask to speak to a tier 2? Thanks for your reply.

Ok so we are trying to get everything in order for when we get NOA2 just kind of to stay on top of things. As per recommendations of my fellow VJers I've went ahead and ordered them, HOWEVER I'm not completely sure that these are the right ones???? I went ahead and ordered 2009-2012 although I don't know why I ordered 2012 anyways. So I finally received them this past Friday BUT all I got was 3 pieces of paper, 1 was the cover page that stated what I had asked for, the 2nd one says Tax Return Transcript (front and back) and the 3rd is the continuation of the 2nd page. Sooooo my question is are these the ones that we are going to need later on in the process or are there different ones?? We just want to stay ahead of the "game" so to speak.
Thanks for all your helps guys!!! Best Wishes on your journeys!!!!

no don't send a corrected 130
just send the letter as advised with all corresponding reference numbers you have.
I am surprised they didn't generate the correction request over the phone
The CSR said since it wasn't their mistake than I should write the NBC and tell them of the mistake.
-
As the petitioner when you call the USCIS don't say anything. Sit there until someone babbles at you in spanish then say, english please. They'll transfer you to a CSR.
LOL! Thank you for your response. I called this morning and they said that I should write a letter stating that I hired someone to fill out the paperwork for me and that that person made an error on my husband's birthday. The CSR was very nice and said that had it been an error on their part then she could have corrected there, but since it was a 3rd parties fault then I should write a letter and mail it to the service center at the bottom of my NOA1 and I should get a response from where the have corrected it.
Next question is.....I also got the woman that filled out our paperwork to write out a letter should I include that also in with my letter explaining the situation and would you guys include a corrected I-130??
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
-
you are the beneficiary? USCIS won't talk to you.
at this stage, only the petitioner can call in.
as to the typo from your wife - ouch. sorry. don't know what to tell you for uscis fixing.
oh no sorry I the wife am the petitioner and my husband is the beneficiary, and we paid a lady to fill out our forms. I tried telling him that we could follow and ask the forum but sorry he's a man we had to do it his way. So yep now we both are freaking out.
-
i say call uscis and talk with a CSR.
They will verify biodata over the phone.
It's quite possible that it's a mis-key solely for that receipt notice, but the electronic case info is accurate.
Well that's also what I thought but then I went back to look to look at our copies and sure enough she put my birthdate in both places. And to top it all off I called her back to ask what we should do she won't answer her phone :/
I tried calling the USCIS and I get a menu asking if I want to order forms, and if I'm calling about an approved case would you happen to know to which category do we belong to?
Thanks so much!!

Help guys I just got my receipt in the mail and the person that did our I-130 put my DOB instead of my husbands!!!! REALLY PISSED OFF!!!!! So no what do we have to do to change it to his DOB???? Totally freaking out

ok so last night at 1234AM I got a text saying that they have recieved the I-130 packet and then checked my email and got the following:
Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number MSC XXXXXXXXX. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.
This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your case. This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your case remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your case must be verified with USCIS.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGEGuess my question is what does the MSC stand for? I also thought that our case would be transferred to a service center not the NBC?? Also we are wanting to get everything ready for later on in the process I know I have to get my IRS transcripts, where do I get those and what dates do I put on there? So can we does this makes us August filers , not quite sure how that works here
Thanks guys for ALL the help!!

-
You asked next step you can go here to NVC filers thread and read post #1 and #2 so you can be ready. And you can always add evidence once your case gets to NVC. So don't be so worried.
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/445228-nvc-filers-august-2013/
Thank you so much for your response, we kind of want to start having everything ready to send in when it is needed......And maybe we won't have any set back

I have finally mailed our I-130 to the Chicago Lockbox, and now I guess I'm freaking out and nervous!! I really wished that I had gotten on here before sending our packet today but I didn't otherwise I would've read the recommendations you guys had instead of reading them waaay later
But I guess that we will keep our fingers crossed and pray that this process is over soon
, although I'm not holding my breathe and neither is my husband. My next question would be what comes after the mailing of the package besides waiting and would this make me an August filer??

Thanks everyone! Ya'll have been a great help!

Do you have any bona fide evidence? i didnt see any of it included in the information above.
If you go a couple more pages through the threads, you can see some of the contents in my package.
oh ok thanks!
I have chat logs from both FB, yahoo, emails, and not to mention some very expensive cell phone bills lol:)

Good Morning Guys!!! So tomorrow during my lunch hour I will hopefully be sending our I-130 packet in and starting the CR-1 process. So my I'm doing recap of our packet and just wanted to know if I was leaving something out (just have a feeling)
So I have the following in our packet:
The I-130
Small paragraph where I withdrew my ex fiancees petition for the K-1
G-325a - for both
Birth certificates - for both
Marriage License - translated
Power of Attorney - translates, since I had to come back to the US I gave my mother in law POA to sign the marriage license in Colombia
Passport Pics - for both of us (got to get mine taken again wrong size)
If you guys can help me out with anything else that I might have forgotten I would so appreciate it.......just feel like I am.

Nothing wrong with giving her the letter. Just a simple statement asking her to come to see her family and experience the American culture.
Her tourist visa application has nothing to do with any other visa business. Best not to even go into that. She will have to understand and comply with the strongest ties rules. This means she will have to prove beyond a doubt she MUST return to her country.
Thank you so much!! We were afraid that it would affect my husband's process.
-
Ok guys I have a question.....I am currently starting the I-130 process with my husband who is still in Colombia. Our question is am I able to give my mother in law an "invitation" letter for her to present at the US Embassy so that she can come and visit me as well as my brother in law?? And what is it that I would have to put in the letter?? And would that affect my husband's future I-130 process....
Thanks in advance guys!!
