Hey everyone! Hope you're weekend was great as was mine. My question is I know that you can have your (USC) have your employer write a letter. Well, I had mine to do just that and basically its says that I'm employed full time, I have insurance, how long I've been employed, just the basics. However, she my boss, scanned the original and emailed it to me. I really don't want to bother her with having her write it again or type it and then giving me the original. Do you think that the scanned copy (she's signed) will work??
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I want to do a personal comment.
I agree with Lia, the packages 3 and 4 don´t always get. I can talk from experience with the embassy in Bogota, when you get the noa2 you can track the package by dhl website and this way know when the embassy got the case and then you can send the package 3 via email, all this is a shorcut and works, after this is just wait for the interview date.
regards
Thanks for the info. I figured that he wouldn't get the package because he lives way out in the middle of nowhere, however we put on the application his mailing address in hopes that he'll be able to get it at the post office. But we've been waiting for about 3 weeks now. I think that we're going to wait until the beginning of next week and then I'm going to send the stuff I got from the computer off.
Thanks for your comment!

Hi,
the CJ embassy website says K-1 applicants get an open appointment letter. I had heard that was the benefit of going K-1 at CJ.
http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/k_step1.html
The whole packet 3 is available online at the CJ website. I have also heard that people don't always get their packets. As far as I know, you just need to be in touch with the embassy to make sure that you can come any time you want (really convenient) and then you show up and get the open appointment letter there at the embassy, go to the medical, and then your appointment. I'm sorry I don't know the hours when you have to show up in the day for those appointments, but I know it's early.
Thanks a bunch Lia, looks like we don't have to wait, thanks for the info. Very much appreciated!
Best wishes in your journey!

Hi and morning to everyone. Hope everyone's weekend was great! My question is in Ciudad Juarez Mexico, do we have to wait on package 3 and what about getting an interview. Our approval notice says its only valid until April 2010 so we want to get everything done before then.
Anyone's help is very much appreciated!
Thanks and best wishes to everyone on this journey!

There is no need to submit another G325a at this time. When you do so to adjust status, the applicant (foreigner) only will need a new one.
Thanks a million for the quick reply and help.
Best Wishes to you both!

When filing an I-129F petition, provide a G325a form for the petitioner and another for the beneficiary. Each should bear original signatures.
What do you mean "first time"?
I mean when we first started the process. I just always keep copies of everything that we send in. I read somewhere that there was a newer kind of G325a that was only one page.
-
OK my question is do I have to refill out the G-325 form or can I use the copies of the ones we sent in the first time?
-
hi,
yes its okay to hand write the rest.
Just be sure to use a dark pen and write in block letters.
I printed all the stuff i knew and sent it to my fiance..he just wrote the rest by hand..no problem there.
good luck
Hi and thanks for the reply. I've went ahead and printed everything out. Also does anyone know where I can get a typewriter. Its like no one carries them anymore. I'd rather type it out than write it more readable, if you know what I mean.
-
Since I don't have all of his passport info do you guys think it would be ok to type half of it print it and then hand write the rest of the info??

Have you looked at the example forms on here? Nik found them very useful, and they may help you answer some of the questions you haven't asked in this post.

Please help. See I'm trying to get package 3 kinda put togather to be able to send to him so that he has it for the interview. However, I need help filling DS-156 out. I mean it says like on part 14 National Identification Number what is that? On part 15 is it asking for his home address now or mine where he'll be staying. Part 22 says when do you plan on arriving in the US, well as soon has he's approved. Ok now parts 30-35 are just confusing to me. He's never had been issued or refused a visa. He plans on working and going to school as well (at a later date) but doesn't he have to be here to look for a job first.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I´ll try to give you some advise.
You can send the consulate an e-mail with you case number, ask about your interview date. Here in Brazil this work.
I visited the "embassy info" (above VJ webpage) and I got this e-mail address from there (you are from Mexico right?)
cdjimmigrantvisas@state.gov
Hope this can help you.
Good day.
Thanks we really appreciate your help.
Best wishes!

Good Morning my VJ family, this morning I tried calling the consulate in Ciudad Juarez. Everything went fine and then when it said transferring to an attendent it said "your call cannot be completed at this time please try again later." Question is how can I get in contact with them to ask about our case and interview date?
Also I got some of the package 3 off the consulate website, can someone please tell me how to fill it out. Sorry I'm just clueless and panicking thinking we've probably missed our appointment or something (they got it on the 31 of Dec).
Please help! Thanks in advance.

Most consulates prefer to respond to email letters as long as they are specific regarding your case. You need the case number and the name of the person looking to obtain the visa. The case number is the one assigned to the embassy, not your USCIS application number.
Thanks for the reply. I've already emailed them and I'm supposed to hear something from them by the end of this week. I also gave them my CDJ number which was given to me when I called the NVC. I basically just emailed them and told them who I was and his info and DOB our CDJ number and that I was wanting to know where our case stood and about our interview. Now I'm just left wondering and thinking about if we'll get an answer sometime soon.
Best of Luck!

Please if I say something a little wrong don't take it personal PLEASE.
First your from Arkansas and there is a Mexican Consulate there that can help you with dealing with other
Latinos in Mexico and their Consulates there.
Second I think you wrote this wrong and you are talking about an American Embassy in Mexico, if I am not wrong.
Because you go to the U.S. side of the LINE to be interviewed to get a Visa to the U.S. and not a Mexican Consulate.
Then there is Why would you as an American think you would receive the PACKET #3 ? Really the Packets go to the one coming to the U.S. and not the U.S. person requesting.
As for the Packets it does take a long time .. in the Philippine they did away with the Packets and you just go ONLINE and get all the PACKET Information .. it is so much easier. I am sorry that you or Mexico still uses the PACKETS.
Anyway I hope this helps or if not PLEASE write more in Detail about your/two situation so we can understand better.
Remember you have a Mexican Consulate in Arkansas to help you also if you spouse to be can't get the information out of them in Mexico. But I still think you are talking U.S. Embassy which is a whole different story. You can call the number found on www.uscis.org and see what happens for the U.S. side of things
Good Luck
Rosie and David
No offense taken
Yes you would think that you wouldn't get the 3 package but even on the website for Juarez its say the both of us will get the 3 package. Yes there is a Mexican consulate in Arkansas but from what I 've been told its only to get the Mexican passports and some other type of ID. As far as going to the other side of the "LINE" you have to go to the American Consulate in Mexico to come into the US not the other way around. Point is that I was wanting to know if there was an easier way of calling the consulate in Juarez and get the info I nee.
-
Ok so I have posted this before and haven't got an answer. Question is how do I call the consulate in Juarez to find out when we have our interview, and how long does it take to get the 3rd package. I haven't got one yet (I'm the USC). I have tried to call them and haven't got an answer. I've tried both numbers and nothing I always get disconnected.
Has everyone just called directly or have you used a calling card??
Please if anyone can please steer me in the right direction. I would DEF appreciate it.
Thanks and Good Luck!!

nice!! our stuff just got mailed out from the NVC yesterday. I really hope things will move quickly from here. I hope we have our interview sometime in February, but that might be asking for too much. Good luck!
Yay!! Congrats!! Our stuff got to the Consulate in Juarez on the 31st of Dec. Best of luck to you guys!!

Morning to all, well I have finally managed to track the package from DHL going into Ciudad Juarez and the date delivered was on the 31 of Dec. I have tried to call the Consulate to see if and when we might have our interview date seeing as to how neither one of us has recieved anything from anyone (except approval). Every time that I have tried and call either we get disconnected or it just hangs up on me. Now question is how can I get through to them or do I have to call direct or can I use a calling card? Please help we don't want to miss our interview date.
Thanks in advance and best wishes!

Try putting it in like this: EXP 24 DEC 2009A
Thanks that helped! It says it got there on the 31st of Dec.

Hello VJ Family,
I'm probably just anxious to hear about my case. However, in a couple other posts I've noticed that some petitioners are able to actually talk to a INS representative regarding their case. Is this possible? If so, is there a number I can call? Or a website I go to for this specific number?
Thank you all for the time in reading and responding to this post.
Happy New Years to all!
All my best,
Ainise & Uepi
Actually I just called the USCIS and they would give me updates on my case. I don't know if this is going to help you but here is the number 1-800-375-5283 you're going to need your receipt number.
Best wishes!!

It's not working for me either. I called the NVC and was told that it was forwarded to the Embassy in Mexico on Dec 24. So I on the Ref # I put in 24DEC2009a as well as the original zip which like you said is 03801. But it still says "no shipments found. Please revise criteria and resubmit."
Am I missing something???
Please help!
Thanks!
