  1. you always have to keep in mind that K1 is not a migratory visa, that is only valid in one way. so when you get marry before the 90 dayy. you can apply for aos. and in this moment is the earliest time that you can apply for an AP and EAD. If the beneficiary left the country before this documents appear in your home, then all the K1 process will be terminated and you wont be able to AOS in the same K1 path you are using. Then you will need to start a new process CR1/IR1 because you are already married and wait outside the country till the new process end.

for example we received the EAD/AP 4 month after filling the petition

  2. i think you are fine, but in my opinion you  don't need to send 400 photos. just send the ten most representatives. I our case we made a photocopy of this pics ( 5) and put the copies into the folder . we went with all the albums but only show her 2. The officer saw all of them  and asked questions about people  and took just 2 original photos. is very important to show not only wedding photos you should bring this 400 and more photos to you interview

  3. I am not sure if answers are related to your questions.

If you are married to an USC and both are in the USA, then you should fill it concurrently it is also cheaper. additionally you can file for a work authorization and advance of parole to travel abroad in case it is necessary. But os is ok to send it alone but in this way is more expensive and more time consuming.

If you sent alone the i130 with no evidence  probably it wont be rejected they only will send you and request for evidence. and you need to send all this evidences. Of course it will add more waiting time to the process

now i dont know if after you sent the I130 you can send the AOS

  4. In the letter with the appointment appear all this information you should bring it also tells you what is suggested to bring to prove of bonafide.

documents that your names appear at the same times ( bank account, utilities, insurance, properties, lease, etc), pics, letters, facebook chats. In general is all the information that one commonly have in a marriage. in our case my wife bring several photo albums but gave her 2. The officer watch the pics, ask for the people that appear in the pics. She said that we only have old pics ( wedding, honey moon, etc) then my wife gave her another album with more recent pics, she took 2 pics.

I have a question to those who got their combo card EAD/AP. Is AP valid for a year the same as EAD? Can you travel multiply times on it?

yes this is a combo card and both expires the same day and yes you can travel multiple time. just take into consideration this      uscis web page

Q4.  If I receive this card, does that guarantee my re-entry into the United States if I travel?
A4. No. This card authorizes parole, not admission, to the U.S. Parole is not an admission or "entry".  If you obtain this card, you may use it to travel abroad and return to the U.S.  Upon arriving at a port-of-entry, you should present the card to a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer to request parole. Issuance of an Advance Parole document does not guarantee that CBP will parole you into the U.S. If parole is granted, you will be permitted to come into the U.S. as a parolee, but will not have been 'admitted". Individuals who have been unlawfully present in the U.S. and subsequently depart and seek re-entry through a grant of parole may be inadmissible and ineligible to adjust their status.

So i lost my green card , can i still work in the us? I know my card number by heart but i lost my ss too. Is there a way i can use a form of iidentification from the i-9.

you need to replace it immediately. when you file i9, commonly the company ask you for a prove that you have to show. in your case the GC and do dont have it. Yoy already report the lost of you GC and your SSN?

  7. Vjs i want to share my experience with you, related to the interview and the whole experience till today.

We were scheduled to attend to the interview last Friday march, 24th, 2017. at 9:20am. in the USCIS office in New York. we arrived early in the morning, We were called to the interview and a lady start asking questions, she was not rude  but very serious.

something very curious was that she made Weird and mocking expressions while she watching the photos, papers, in general all the evidences, like mocking, I suppose it was to make us nervous. The interview was relatively short, lasted no more than 15 minutes, the officer gave us all our documents and a letter indicating that at the moment she could not make a decision. My wife asked if that was going to take a long time and she emphatically said that she did not stay long with cases. I left the office with a lot of doubts. when we returned to the waiting room, i could see happy faces, all i saw was sad faces. On the weekend my wife made great efforts to raise my spirits because I thought that this would be another long period of waiting in that limbo in which one walks. I even had some fever. On Monday 27 I went to the office particularly late and without encouragement and in the middle of an endless  meeting I received a message from uscis indicating that there was an update of my case. i updated the USCIS app and It said that my card had been ordered. In the afternoon another message and when checking in the app it said that the request for adjustment of status had been approved. Even in disbelief, I saw that an email arrived for my wife on March 30, saying that the petition had been approved, then another mail on Friday came for me giving me the welcome to USA. And the message that the card had been sent. This is to say that I have reviewed the app hundreds of times to see a change of status and when we arrived home today, checking the mail we found a big envelop with a  beautiful green card inside and the app remains in the same state ( card was ordered to me)

Now we are celebrating at home the new status :jest:
