And i just want to add that my K2 FTJ was approved too just today in the Philippines....

hit means there is a person who's name is like urs so the nbi needs to verify the records first before they issued u the clearance.. like me i have a hit too...

the only difference in our name is that we have a different middle name...

as long as u dont have record on file/ criminal record on file u are good to go...

At first baby is hiding to Daddy, she is shy but then she looked at daddy and say hello mama and daddy... i am a girl...

remittances is not a basis to deny a visa.. in K1 its not really a requirement.. there are lot of beneficiary who underwent interview who passed w/o remittances.... in immigrant/ spousal/ relative yes i believe remittances is really a necessary...

There was a topic where I could have asked but it was locked. What happens if a petition is withdrawn? Are the names for petitioner and beneficiary still in the Homeland Security system as a red flag? Does it still restrict you the same as an approval does for two years?

yes even the previous k1 is withdrawn still in their system like what Jim said in the earlier post... but its not a problem for re-applying again... just submit an IMBRA letter along with the 2nd K1 petition again..

I suggest you don't jump the gun and get married without having a plan. That won't accomplish anything. They will just deny your CR-1 the same way they denied your K-1.

What you need to do is sit down and very carefully analyze what happened at the interview. Look at all the red flags and gather evidence to counter them. Then perhaps you can think about getting married or re-filing K-1, whichever seems better.

The fact that you had such documentary evidence of your relationship and still got denied indicates that you probably had red flags that outmatched the evidence provided. You have to take care of those first.

coz getting cr1 is not a guarantee that CO will issue a visa...

money remittances for k1 is not necessarily required... visiting once is also not a problem...

i'm just curious if i'm the one who's often checking my email or the USCIS web if they update my case..lol

Hello everyone I am new to this site. I've been reading posts related with PTB scar. I had a minimal ptb in 2005 and I was treated and healed in the same year. I have my medical certificates with me and some of my X-ray films. I always have my annual check-up. My pulmonologist said I had nothing to worry about and my TB is not active and it is just a scar. I haven't had any problem getting a job here because of my medical certificates. Thank God! I've read in this helpful website that the applicants who have irregularities in their X-ray like PTB scar will undergo a three-day sputum test and two-month sputum cultures test. OMG!!! 2 months? I am a positive person but realistic at the same time. I am expecting I will also undergo similar procedures because of my ptb scar. I have a question fellow VJ members. I hope you will help me. Is it possible to have a medical exam at SLEC even though you don't have an interview appointment yet?-- yes..

When can I start my medical exam at SLEC?-- when u have ur mnl. no.

We have the passport, pictures, know they need medical, visa.... anything else???-- cfo cert. and sticker.. no need for seminar..

any new updates on childrens last names??? he has his fathers name on his bith certificate.... Mother was never married. father is married someplace else....with a family. No way to contact or even find.... we were advised before this won't be a problem under Philippine law. Agree?-- np!

We are planning to file the petition this month .But we have some worries that our case would be unsual.My husband had been divorced twice.his second divorce is with a filipina he brought his ex-wife through a fiancee

visa it was a short marriage that didnt workout my husband told me that it was her ex-wife fault that he had been used by this filipina for immigration purpose.But my husband didnt report her he just want to get out

of the marriage and his ex-wife still in the US .Theyve been divorced nearly 2 years i think on april 2012 to be exact.

I am a also a filipina and my worries is would this situation would be a red flag? Do we need a lawyer to help us because it is considered a complicated case ?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated...

no need for a lawyer just follow the cr1/K1 guide and u will be fine... but bcoz he brought the x-wife as a fiancee here in the USA and he signed the affidavit of support for her AOS ( if they filed AOS )... the x-wife will still be under his household as long as she is not yet a USC... that's what happened to the other filipina girl i know... they always had an RFE for the affidavit it is bcoz of the x-wife is still under his household eventho they are divorce now...( if u will go to k1 route too..)

There is no such thing as filing on-line -whatever you fiance is telling you. So in case your next time is successful (but from what you are writing you should really ask your fiance to review the process - for example VJ guides) you do not have state you previous case cause it never existed (you did not get NOA1).
