    Unclear if this a State owned company but if there is a big demand for a bus route why wouldn't you? How different is it say to someone flying into Mexico then heading north, not so long ago I was reading that Russians fly into Cancun then take an internal flight to Tijuana, makes sense.

    I did not address that as I assume it is somewhat unlikely that he would be issued a B, and I sort of passed on the Medical side as I knew someone who knew much more than I do would be along. Even a free Lawyer can be expensive in time and other costs. Anyway the OP knows what is needed.

    I have seen this with Iranians, any time lines should be taken with a bucket of salt.

    I am not sure what is meant by file must be accepted, but as I have mentioned it is a very high bar. 50/50? Well I have I think seen 2 cases approved and I am not sure how many, hundreds?, refused. I seriously doubt he has 50% of such cases he has been involved in approved. Todays Hacking with a Consulate refusal.

    Did she explain it was a long shot? There are two main issues with this approach: 1. It is very difficult to get a meeting waiver, I think I have come across it twice both in very exceptional circumstances. 2. If you do get a waiver it is very easy for a K1 to be closed out by the Consulate, they issue a 221G, send it back to USCIS and it dies. I find it difficult to believe the Consulate would be sympathetic. Nothing is impossible, I have seen too many odd cases but this is really up there as effectively it requires a double Hail Mary.

    Even if they gave you a waiver for not meeting how did you intend proving a valid relationship with someone you have not seen for 10 years? Who told you this was a good idea?
