Tradewind got a reaction from Tina and Johan in N 400 interview
My wife just did her N400 interview.   Applied in April,  Biometrics in May and then interview today.   Interview was around 15-20 minutes.   First 6 questions she answered correctly.   Went over a few items (about 15) on the application.  APPROVED and out the door.  Didn't ask to see any paperwork she brought.  Nothing.  She was nervous and  he was professional,  it was simple and easy.  We were married in 2010 and green card in 2014.  60-90 days will be the  oath ceremony.    My wife did well and was fully prepared.  Simple.  Great day and Thank you USCIS.

Bill you misunderstood my posting US and USCIS. The US was referring to us (my wife and I) Not USA. I blame myself for this no one else at this point.

Good questions, I too am waiting for an answers to these questions . Tourist visa should be for 6 months. When you file the I-485, I am led to believe you can stay over the 6 months until process is completed.

    Hi Everyone,
I am currently filling up forms I-485 and I-130. It is mostly done except for a few lines that I need clarified.
First, here are the pertinent facts to my circumstance, a brief history. My US visa was issued in 2008; under 'Visa Type/Class' it says: "R B1/B2". Used my visa a few months after it was approved. Then returned back to home country. After a few years, I met my then boyfriend (now husband), and in 2011 we got married in the US -- still on my tourist visa. Then I went back to home country, again. Now we are back in the US for good, in the next 4 years (we are in the Navy and will be stationed here).
    My questions are:
    On form I-130 --
under letter C., #2, what address should I put in? My address in home country or the address I have in the US?
under letter C., #9, it asks for SSN, of course I don't have one but I was able to procure an ITIN. Should I put "n/a" or the ITIN that was given to me?
under letter C., #14, the blocks provided for 'Arrival/Departure Record (I-94)' does not match the form I was given by the Immigration, how should I fill it up? Also, my I-94 does not have an expiration date; it is stamped the date I was admitted entry and the Immigration Officer scribbled B2. Is it okay to just put in the date my visit is supposed to expire as per my visa type?
    On form I-485 --
under part I, still wondering what address to put in -- the US one or home country?
what should my 'Current USCIS Status' be?
Thanks for taking the time to read this. And thanks ahead to anyone who addresses the questions posted.

You still haven't read the instructions. Please do it now. VJ is here to help people do it themselves, not to do it for you. Please study those instructions and the form itself before asking more questions that are answered clearly in the instructions and/or on the form.

My wife of 3 years is 29 and I am 64. When hiking the trails in the National Park, my wife has trouble keeping up. She says I am stealing her youth I am starting to believe it because I am getting younger everyday.
Seriously I do not think of her as young, I just think of her as my wife, someone to love and protect. In her mind Colombian (latin) guys are not trustworthy overall and many like to party and be unfaithful. My wife is studious and does not like the party lifestyle. Neither do I. This is the woman I have been looking for all my life but I had not found her until now. I was either not looking in the right places (Looking for love in all the wrong places) or it took me 60 years to grow up. Or have I ??
