I was on hold for an hour... talked to Lee. I acted all dumb asking about the N/A on the AOS fee all of sudden and she said " Oh don't worry because your case is COMPLETE. You are waiting for an appointment now" My heart dropped. and then I had to gather myself and call Carlos because he was waiting for me to call him back. We are sooooooo happy.
After 11 months at USCIS. I never thought this day would come. I won the bet with my husband too. He has to buy dinner and do shots of tequila with me. I can't wait to see him... OMG OMG

OK, alot of people answered this incorrectly...
If the 1040 was filed, you have to use LINE 22 ( TOTAL INCOME) if you use any other number they will check list you.
You said you filed the 1040... LINE 22 from the 1040 is the number you have to use..... check and double check.... GOOD LUCK !!!!!

My CEAC status has not changed.. Both invoices show PAID and the DS260 shows as COMPLETED.

I don't think it has anything to do with easy or difficult. They review mail by the date received. I think someone just picked up the wrong box. The same as when I got my case number the same day my case was received at the NVC. I didn't have to wait 30 days for a case number. I paid my invoices together and everything was complete and sent in within 8 days. They didn't like my husbands birth cert so here we wait...
My lawyer sent a cover letter too. I don't think that makes a bit of difference. And calling once a month or 4 times a day doesn't make a difference either.
Its all just LUCK..
They are backlogged. If they are trying too control the workload by delaying the invoices etc... then the least they could do is review the mail that is waiting.

Yea, everything was done in 8 days for us.... I would have been done in 30 days if it weren't for the checklist for the birth cert. and I still believe it is the original... they are just clueless
