I just read some of the discussions on this forum, and realized that apparently they pick on couples who don't have kids and/or jointly-owned properties after 2 years of marriage! So, we're one of them and we've been renting the same apartment ever since I arrived.

OK I went back and found the early bio date for tarjeta and put it in the spreadsheet.

Is the estimated date of approval is calculated from the date of the Bio or the date of NOA1? If from the Bio, ours would need to be updated in the spreadsheet to reflect the early walk in date.

Go ahead and change your Bio Appt date and it will automatically change your estimated approval date.

It's based on Bio date.

I was bored so I created the spreadsheet Mr. and Mrs was requesting. You can add your own info if you'd like. I put in an estimated approval date based on stats from the August approved people. You'll see a big difference in dates for CSC filers and VSC filers - sorry VSC'ers I just used the current data and it's taking 134 days compared to CSC filers which is taking only 64 days.

freetv - when you posted the updated chart for some reason my bio-date was left off. We had our appointment on 8/19/11

Any chance we can delete one of the columns (like check cashed) - the chart is very difficult to read when trying to compare peoples stats. Just a thought.

We sent our today 7/18/11 to CSC.

Hoping to file in July. We actually sent it out on 6/17 (even though I TOLD my husband it was TOO EARLY) and sure enough they sent it back - we were 9 days too early. Could have sent on 7/1. Turned out to be a good thing to get it back because my husband lost a job bid he was certain he was getting so he had to use the $590 that he had sent in with the packet. I'm HOPING he is able to send in this month, though I anticipate he'll wait until after our mini-vacation the first weekend of August.

Please remove us from the list. Turns out we filed 9 days too early so they returned our entire package to us. I told my husband it was too early but he insisted that since he got the letter he was to send right away! Ugh MEN!! Anyways, turned out to be a good thing in the long run because hubby lost a job bid that he was certain he had and he ended up needing the $600 that he had originally sent with the packet. My guess is now we won't file until after our mini vacation the first week of August.

Hi all. Long time.

All is going well. Just popped in to get the Removal of Conditions procedure down. We'll apply in July. I can't believe it's almost been 2 years since my husband has been here!

He now owns his own painter contractor business, bought his first car, got his first drivers license. Family is all doing well. We've been trying our best to conceive, but have yet to carry to term. Had a chemical pregnancy Jan 2010 and an 8 week miscarriage April 2010. We give it our best effort every month! It's all in God's hands!! We are planning a family trip to Nigeria in 2013, possibly in November and we'll renew our vows on our 5 year anniversary and have a big wedding with all the family, not sure - all depends on finances.

Anywho - hope all is well with everyone!

Little one didn't stick around that's the 2nd one in 3 months that we've lost.

Other than that things are going well, hubby is still out of work (it's been 6 weeks now!), but we are looking into him starting college in the fall, somewhere in the medical field since that seems to be where all the jobs are. I was offered a promotion at work last week, which is fabulous! Adjustment is going well, bumps along the way but I expected that.

Hi all just checking in to say ALL IS FANTASTIC!!!

Had a couple of minor bumps in the road a month or two ago, but I think a few bumps should be expected with all this.

Husband is working and enjoying the work, family has accepted him quite well, and he's getting used to rural farm life. Daughter refuses to call him by his first name insisting he's "Daddy". Older boys too are bonding well with him. My 19yo had a great bonding day yesterday - they were target shooting together, I only interrupted once to show off my skills .

NEW WEEK, NEW MONTH!!

Yea!! Baby!!! I'm with Betsy - where are the pics? Get them on here now! BTW, did I say congrats? Gosh, I'm having one of those moments where it seems like just yesterday that we all filed and now here we are about a year later and Mumtaz has already had her baby. During those moments when it seems like the process will never be over, it's hard to imagine how fast time will actually fly. Okay, I'm getting deep. Could be the impending 40th birthday next month, but I'll just say it's because I'm tired and need to go to bed.
