Everyone wishes that they are granted an interview quickly, but it isnt really fair to all the other fillers who are also waiting to request a super early interview.

The police are saying this guy preyed on women off Craigslist. His fiancee is saying that is impossible because he could never do such things. Usually the police are pretty good at their investigations so...do you think you could ever not know that your significant other is killing people?

I mean, you might be shocked but do you think there would be at least SOME signs when someone is a murderer or do you think some psycopaths are just that good at fooling every one around them. I mean there have been big serial killers who were trusted members of communities for over 30 years before they were caught...but it just amazes me that not even their significant other noticed anything.

Reminds me of that case last summer in Austria maybe where the father had the daughter kindapped and living in the basement with several children he fathered, and lives upstairs with his wife, the daughter's mother. How do you not know that there are people living in your basement?

We're emailing montreal today for a new packet 3... I hope they let us submit everything without it... tired of waiting..

You have to send in the checklist that they send you, and it says that everything must be sent in at the same location, I felt the same way though, but they were really speedy about getting it to me the 2nd time around.

Congrats to all who were approved recently and hope everything goes well with the ones who are having interviews today!! :) This is all so exciting!

Well our file is finally out of NVC after 3 weeks of being stuck there. They also corrected their error (thank God!!) so our file is on it's way to Montreal! I'll check again today see if they received it.

Although I haven't received the Packet 3 yet, I consider myself waiting for my K1 interview in Montreal!!

Hey Julie, looks like Packet 3 is on its way to you! Congrats! Ours should show up any day now - it was mailed april 9th... darn holidays!

If you dont get your packet 3 by Tuesday or Wednesday , e-mail the embassy and request another one. My first one never came, but the second one came in 4 days from the date they sent it.

LoL, it's funny how quickly we all forget how bad Blizzard fails at implementing patchs. With so many players their deficiency is amplified. Oh well. I'm going to search for my copy of Team Fortress II. That is the only First Person Shooter game that I was able to convince Mel to play. The graphix for the game were done by Pixar, so all the characters look like the annimation from The Incredibles. Great game

Zomg we play TF2 too! Im not very good tho, but it is fun killing eachother. We always seem to pick the opposite colour lol.

Yay!! I e-mailed my embassy and they said I'm officially on the waiting list !! Next bunch of interviews should be scheduled in about a week and a half. Keeping my finger crossed but not counting on getting one that soon.

So I ran out today and got my US $262 for the Visa (me+my son). So that was the last thing I needed. We are still waiting for the IRS transcripts....which my fiancé has promised that he will call Mon and try to get them faxed. He had ordered them by mail, but no show so far this is the last thing that is keeping me nervous!

I am happy that my fiancé is coming, but have sworn him to best behaviour! Lol'! He is such a practical joker and always tries to play around with people...so I made him promise to not answer the question 'do you still intend to marry her?' with 'I guess there's no turning back at this point! Why do you guys still issue refunds after today?' I'd kill him! I mean we always have good laughs, but the Embassy is not the place! Lol'!

Good grief... I so know what you mean! D does the SAME THING!!!! Especially when we're about to arrive at an airport... get on the airplane... crossing the border... someplace where you KNOW you're NOT supposed to say or joke about certain things. Oyyy... is that a man thing?

Lol you can joke around a litttle, last time I went to see charles, the guy at the peace bridge asked me if I had anything to declare. I replied a bag of gummy bears and I pulled them out of my purse to show him. He was laughing which is really unusual for those guys.

Hey everyone!! I just received my NOA2 today and starting the whole fun and games waiting at Montreal. Just wanted to introduce myself!! I am heading up to Montreal this weekend to visit my fiance. Maybe I will leave the consulate a nice little note telling them to schedule everyone who is waiting ASAP!! LOL

And so jalous of you people who can get interview dates so quickly. Im glad I requested a new package 3 on thursday , because mine never came, but I did file all the forms and made an imporvised checklist since that was the only form the Montreal consulate doesnt have online. On friday i faxed and mailed a copy of everything, just to be extra sure they will get it .. since i am still waiting here... Going to e-mail them on Wednesday and see if everything I sent was ok.

6 months to approval, not to getting the visa, not every consulate is at the same speed for issuing the visas.

Everyone in the Canadian forum has said that the new non notarized form is ok

He will have get a police clearance from everywhere he has lived for more than 6 months from the age of 16 and up, so yes he would need a clearance from Saudi as well.

I would take a look at the average processing times for cases to go from date of filling to the interview, November is about 8 months away, and if you are sure that he will be back in the Phillipines after November I would just put the Phillipines consulate on the initial application because it is looking like the K1's are taking about 6 months to get approved now on average. Or maybe wait a couple of months so that you are confident that he will be in the Phillipines when you are expecting an interview because I think moving the files to another consulate may be a big headache.

Everyone has already prolly told you not to worry about it and it has only been 2 months.. but they are right. It is taking about 6 months now to go from NOA1 to NOA2 at VSC, and speaking from experience you will drive yourself crazy if you live by Igor's list. Think of the positive like they have issued the NOA1 which is a small step, but still something to be happy about. My original estimate for approval on VJ was before Christmas, and I wasnt approved until March. Dates will fluctuate a lot before you get the NOA2.
