I think that's the '[Hope and] Change' everyone was talking about; 'I'll change my views once I have the powers'.
I can't wait to see the 'hope'. I wonder what that's going to bring us.

It has never looked good for Zimm. The media and others found him guilty right from the beginning. I will be very surprised if he is found innocent at the end.

The little girl will be traumatized by this, no doubt about it. i am a grown woman and if i had to shoot/kill someone who broke into my home, there is no doubt in my mind I'd be traumatized, however, I'd rather be traumatized by that than being traumatized for the rest of my life (if left alive) by being a victim of rape. this scenario always comes to them (the scumbag) your and/or your family's lifes.I'd do what it takes to protect the latter.
I applaud the little girl for doing what she had to do to protect herself.

After watching the report on Univision, there is no way i can support an administration that put firearms in the hands of very dangerous criminals in Mexico. I am voting for Romney because of F&F! I hope other Mexicann hermanos do the same. We cannot support, nor should we support an administration that has helped dangerous criminals to terrorize our fellow Mexicans in Mexico.
It's time for Obama's administration to go. We cannot afford mistakes like those that have been made with F&F.

I haven't posted here in a while but done a lot of lurking. However, I have to add my two cents here since I am a big time supporter of gun ownership.
First, good for the kid. Better the criminal to be the "victim" than the kid.
Second, I have my CCW and carry everywhere I go. I also have my handgun and shotgun close by at home. Call me paranoid if you may, but I refuse to become a victim of rape, or a victim of any scumbag for that matter.
It took me a long while to realize that gun prohibition and/or strict gun control isn't the answer. It took for me to take a long look at my own country of birth. Mexico, they have some of the most strict gun laws there can be, and look at what is happening right now.
No way I want to live here in the US in fear of criminals. Not when we have the right to bear arms and self-defense. I feel sorry for my people in Mexico, they don't have those rights.
