That's correct.

They will send you a letter and update the case status online after they approve it. No one can tell how long it will take but from what I seen on here many cases got approved within 2 to 3 weeks after responding to RFE.
I think you have a really good chance to hear before the end of the month. Good luck.

I checked my status on CEAC and it changef from READY to ISSUED. is it safe now to buy the tickets ?
Most likely yes but no one can guarantee it.
-
thank you so much. I have 2 more questions how do I know if I send them electronically or by mail?? and after sending them in how long do you think it will take?
Send the by email make sure to scan front and back of each document. You will need to translate all documents that are not issued in English. After you email the docs, it will take NVC about 60 days to review.

Quick question...
My case status changed to "In Transit" today around noon my time... 12 hours later my status now is "Ready". How's that possible? This means my case is already at the consulate?

how can i track on dhl?
Playing with the DHL website found this shipment left on the 22nd and was delivered on the 29th. Looks like they got your case at the embassy.

You can look at this thread to find out more about DHL tracking:

we've tried to email but no response until now. That' s why im a bit worried. I was thinking if i will cancel the the jan 9 and back to jan 14 our original scheduled.
It might change to Ready any moment hard to know what's going on without hearing from the embassy. I'm not familiar with this but if you know exactly what date it was shipped you might try to use the DHL tracking thing to check if the shipment was delayed or something.

im a little worried until now in transit since dec 19 intransit.
Looks like you have your interview in 3 days? Have you tried emailing the embassy? Usually it takes no more than a week to change to "Ready". They probably have it already and your status just never changed?

What is your interview date?
February 3rd

Quick question!!!
I filed an I-864ez AOS with 2013 1040ez income tax return (scanned and sent to NVC).
They ask me In my P4 latter to
Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.
MY QUESTION
Do I have to bring at interview just what I sent or I have to bring a latter from IRS?
Do I need to sign it from attorney?
Thanks in advance
2014 taxes aren't due until mid april so you don't have to provide updated tax return. However, just to be safe provide a copy of your last paystub in 2014 just in case they ask for it (this is what I am doing).
On the embassy website they said the I864 needs to be notarized so I got mine notarized just to be safe but not sure if this is a requirement.

i had my interview today and i was APPROVED !!! i will write details later when i am home
Congrats....

I rcvd the interview letter by email today - is it okay for my husband to call and schedule his medical now, or wait closer to the interview date?
Thank you for all your help.
No need to wait just get it out of your way
Good luck....

Thank you for the reply The emails we have received earlier, the address is correct. Word for word but in this letter they spelled the city wrong, state wrong and the street address instead of 96 they put 86.. I don't know why they did that?? Should I give them a checklist for writing the address incorrectly??
LOL not a good idea they will ask you for 60 days to correct it.
-
THREE MISTAKES ON MY HUSBAND's ADDRESS ON THE P4 LETTER.. WILL REQUESTING FOR ANOTHER LETTER WITH CORRECTED ADDRESS DELAY THE PROCESS?? WILL IT TAKE LONGER FOR NVC TO SEND ME ANOTHER P4 LETTER?? CAN WE USE THIS LETTER FOR MEDICALS UNTIL THE CORRECTED ONE COMES IN EMAIL?? THIS IS SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!! :(
I don't think you need to request updated letter. If they have the address wrong on file you can correct it at the time of the interview.

Hey everyone, We have our interview scheduled for the Feb 4, 2015. On the interview letter, it says to bring sponsor's tax returns. We already provided NVC that. Why would they request it again? and I also have a co-sponsor, so do I provide the co-sponsor's tax returns too. Please advice.
Look at the post above you. No need to provide it again if already submitted to NVC.
-
Silly question: which photo will be on my green card?? The ones my husband sent to NVC or the ones I'll take to the interview??
I believe the one you take to the interview.

Hello,
We are also on same page as you are. We also didn't get actual email from NVC for Interview letter. Our case complete on 12/19 and I also called on Wednesday(12/31) and said our interview date scheduled for February 4th verbally on the phone (mumbai consulate). I am waiting for our P4 letter. just worried little bit. How long should I wait more? Any idea??? Please advice. I hope I should get it by Monday.
They send it usually within 2 to 3 days after scheduling the interview so you should get it soon probably on Monday if not today.

Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee look at that. Just updated you. Here you were posting gloom and doom. The best is still yet to come. So happy for you.
Hey is it true that Rio is the plastic surgery place to go. I need to go what you think I need work for real. This is me. Yep me.
What a gorgeous smile thanks for all the help you provide. Most of us will be lost without ya...

We received the P4 e-mail yesterday our Case Number from NVC is still the same and when I try to check CEAC it says to check with NVC for next step. Would rather not but I guess I have to call them tomorrow. Me no likey talking to them.
I don't think you need to call as long as you have interview scheduled. The status will not change until they ship your case to the embassy.

Question!!!!
I received my P4 email yesterday, and I just noticed the subject of email was AMM2014******* (STD P4 APP (25NOV2014)).
So what does (STD P4 APP (25NOV2014)) mean?
Thanks
Wondering about the same thing here.

do they mail any documents to the beneficiary or the petitioner receives everything?
Usually not. All the important documents will be emailed.
