Yesterday was such a blessing for me and my husband-Finally got my EAD card in mail!!thanks god!

BTW, im a august 25 filers AOS and EAD..done my biometrics 2nd week of Sept.

Hello everyone!! i've been worried about my AOS & EAD application i haven't heard anything from the immigration after my biometrics last september. My case has been transferred to CSC. Anybody of you here have the same situation like mine? i filed last august 25 and the last letter i received was when they transferred to CSC after my biometrics appointment date.

Just starting the AOS process and i'm confused about the "Application Type" in Part 2 of the I 485 form. I see a place to check for K1, but not K3. If I am applying for my wife, how do I answer the "Application Type" question?

Yes, you have to check the box C,if you entered as K1...for further question, download also the instruction to be sure you answered it correctly.Goodluck!!

From all the documents needed for my interview, what are those that I need to photocopy? And how many copies do I need? Thanks.

hi guyz. my husband went to his medical sept 8, and 9. he got his 2 shots as well. im just wondering, my husband told me. some of the visa applicant in slec they got their brown envelop after their shot. ? my husband told me that slec will be the one to forward the result and the xtray film to the usem? why is that? why some visa applicant in slec get their film/result right in the spot? please advice thanks alot guyz.

Congratulations to you!! i am happy for you..how many months was your waiting time before you got your EAD card? me..feeling sad co'z i couldn't have the ssn here in alabama until i have the final result from immigration about my application for EAD..felt bad..but anyways, congrats you can start looking for job now,lol

hi gurl...as far as i know when you read the uscis site, there's no fee for filing of EAD if you're goin to file it together with your AOS at the same time..BUT,if you're goin to file it separately after filing your AOS,it will be complicated more, so if i were you sis file the aos, ead at the same time even for advance parole...good luck to you and i hope i'll help you a little bit,gezzzz...

hi there! you're absolutely right! i have done my TB testing and blood work related, and to make it sure that the civil surgeon is telling me the truth, i asked mu husband to call the immigration and they confirmed it that i needed tb test and HIV test for record...i was surprised really because i didn't expect to do it again after my medical last may...and expect that it will cost alot:(, for now its expensive cos of bad economy:(..good luck gurl..i just filed my aos last monday..im praying that there would be no problem.....

hi! chances are your friend will be having delays with that medical condition because st. lukes wont allow her to be cleared on her medical..expect delay or worse is she would not have her visa...just my thinking though....good luck!!!

hi! i dont have any idea gurl,.. but whats wrong why you got RFE? when did you file your application? i just had mine last monday..im keeping my fingers crossed that i wont be able to get RFE..god bless us gurl on our journey..

im sorry to hear that...anyway, if you could get another copy from the bank you try, BUT you said, delbros texted you back after your first text, for sure ur infos were, already in the record, but DELBROS screwed everyone about docs verification, including ME!

Hello vjr's this morning? i hope we are all gonna be okay with our journey and hopefully things will goin smoothly.. my concern now and quit disappointed yesterday when i went to the civil surgeon to transcribe my vaccination..i didn't know that im goin to undergo TB test and blood work again!grrrr....i told the nurse that i've done it before i came here in the states last june 28, asked me again if i brought with me the result, i said its in the immigration, the only one they gave us(st. lukes) was the vaccination record...but guess what she told me..that i still need TB and HIV test for record!!! Is that all true? or the doctor just simple money maker..For all i know, as K1 the medical exam is valid for 1 year..I was really disappointed cos of the tight situation now, i wouldn't have to pay for that amount..grrrr..$407 for that test!!!!and they didn't gave me the result but rather,they will mail it tomorrow!damn! goin to file my AOS on monday hopefully..

Is anyone from my fellow vjr's undergone TB testing and HIV, Syphillis,etc..like me?

My wife's AOS is pending and we're a June 08 Filler. Our advance parole is still somewhere out there.

Can my wife and I go on a Cruise in Hawaii or Alaska?

I am aware that she is not able to travel abroad.

There is one cruise that Princess is offering its from Los Angeles to Hawaii but it stops in Ensenada Mexico before arriving in Los Angeles and I'm not sure if we can go to that cruise.

Any information will help.

hello vj family...K1 AOS filers, WHAT did you enter in the AOS form question , Is it ©(6) OR ©(9)? PLZZZ..i need your HELP..salamat!!

just about to mail off my wifes NBI clearances with the DS-230

she got two from two different places

however, I notice it says in small print in the corner that it's not valid without the thumbprint, but the thumbprint is blank!!!

is this normal for them to omit this, or was my wife expected to add the thumbprint herself after leaving the NBI place? that would seem silly to me because then anyones thumbprint could be added!!!
