    My wife became a U.S. citizen this morning at the West Palm Beach field office. We applied on October 3rd under the 3 year rule. There were 44 participants in the oath ceremony from 22 different countries. We are both happy and relieved to now have this entire nearly 7 year journey in our rear view mirror.

    We received the Oath Ceremony Notice today, scheduled for April 7th. 1 step closer.

    Primarily copy of home house deed and automobile title in both names. Automobile registration and insurance in both names. Joint bank account statements for the time period in question showing mortgage payments, homeowners insurance payments, utilities payments, and homeowners association dues.

    Our update- My wife had her interview on February 9 at the West Palm Beach field office. She knocked it out of the park, aced all of the tests. But we were confronted with a problem: in the first year of her GC we were outside on the US for 182 days. That was a surprise because I had miscalculated the days. We were issued a Notice of Continuance the next day and given 30 days to respond with documentation that she had not abandoned her residence. We Fedexd our response 2 days later. We quickly received a notice that our response was being processed. Since then nothing…until today. We received two notices today; one that she had been approved and one that her Oath Ceremony will be scheduled.

    We filed on October 3rd and have the interview scheduled for February 9th.

    No. Same date as the original but at a much closer field office.

    We received a de-interview notice of last night, scheduled interview cancelled. An hour later we received an interview notice for a service center in WPB. Wild rollercoaster ride.

    It does say ‘Please come to…Kendall address’. I’m just a bit paranoid. 🤣

    We filed the N-400 for my wife on October 3, 2025. We received the interview notice today for February 9. I have one question: the address for the interview is for the Kendall field office in Miami, FL. We live in the West Palm Beach area which is fair bit north. There is a nearby field office here. At the bottom of the notice the name and address of the WPB field office appears next to the A Number & Receipt Number barcodes. That is causing me a level of concern. I am in no way complaining, but is there a chance that there is an error? I just don’t want to appear at the wrong location.
