  1. Did you try searching here: https://matrix.itasoftware.com/search What's your end destination? I can search later if you'd like. I'm not sure if it's still the case, but Heathrow used to have the highest departing fees in the world, so it's never as cheap as some other destinations.
  2. I'm not sure how it is in your area/province. Usually, adults do not need 15 vaccines, were you ever vaccinated in the past?
  3. Verify with the clinic. If I remember correctly, not all of them in Canada provide vaccine. Will certainly be much cheaper/maybe free at a community clinic near you.
  4. Before sending it back, you might want to reach out to a legal help service in your area. Just to make absolutely sure that everything is accurate and that you won't lose the fees this time. https://www.immigrationadvocates.org/legaldirectory/
  5. See: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Canada.html to make sure you have exactly the right document. If you do not: order the right document If you do: reupload the right document + a copy of their own website description of what the right document is.
  6. That's different than "Because, officially, the customs and border patrol do not want you to visit under tourist visa after you have applied for a K-1 visa. " And more like: All visitors have to overcome the appearance of immigrant intent. Let's not be fear mongering, most visitors who can demonstrate that they'll be heading back home after a reasonably short/long visit are allowed to enter. Wishing you, your fiancée, and family, a speedy journey, and easy visits until their visas are issued.
  7. First line: I am certain it's a u-visa, no police report (I'm sure I would have been notified if there was). There is nothing saying that the crime has anything to do with you, so, no, you would not necessarily be notified. If she is your ex, then the best tip is to move on and let her manage her immigration stuff on her own. Focus your energy on living your best life.
  8. Why would you want to share intimate pictures with government agencies? Answer is there: https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f " Special Instructions E-Notification: If you want to receive an e-mail and/or text message that we have accepted your form at a USCIS lockbox, complete Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, and clip it to the first page of your form. Do not include: Anything that contains electronic chips and batteries (such as musical greeting cards) or any non-paper materials such as CD-ROMS, DVDs, toys, action figures, or thumb drives. We will not accept these types of materials. However, we will accept photographs or copies of these items; Any biological or genetic samples as DNA evidence. For information on DNA testing and submitting DNA samples, please visit the Department of State’s webpage; or Graphic photos of childbirth or intimate relations as evidence of a relationship or marital bona fides."

  10. Where did you find this official policy?
  11. Are you trying to fill it from a computer, or a tablet? Most common problem is not doing it from a PC.
  12. Please take care of your safety before taking care of immigration, or anything else. https://www.thehotline.org/resources/escalation/ is a good read, and from there, you can prepare a Plan for Safety (top of the page) Others will have good advice about immigration, but please do not ignore her escalation.
  13. In addition to these points, passports have been issued to non citizens by mistake - it is not the definite evidence of citizenship.
  14. Having visited the US (with, or without, disclosing your dream of studying at the MIT) and RETURNED home on time will weigh more than being paid by cheque, or whatever other method. Answer the questions truthfully, this is all there is to it. Also, try to not be so anxious about it, you might end up looking suspicious. Breathe and think about the positives of your visit: what do you want to see, why another trip to the US now, how excited you are to see A, B, and C, and then to return home and tell your friends about it - like that, but with your own voice. You did it before, you can do it again.
  15. My husband tends to leave his stuff everywhere, including in "my" room, on my side table. I have clothes in "his"closet because it's larger... I think we'd have been ok. Otherwise, I could have asked them to come back at night with a sonometer and see if they could sleep next to him lol 💤💤, or with a camera to show them how much I turn around 😬
  16. We are team two bedrooms here. Just did not have the means to go full Versailles and get separate quarters Seriously, chronic pain and different sleep cycles/preferences, best decision ever.
  17. I do not understand what you mean. There is no "proof" available for what you want in the US. If you are abroad, and it is required, you can look up the local embassy page and they'll explain how to produce proper evidence in that country. In France, for example, it is found under What is a « certificat de coutumes » and “certificat de célibat”? on this page https://fr.usembassy.gov/services/marriage-and-civil-partnerships-pacs-in-france/
  18. Ok. Who is asking you to prove that you are single and free to marry?
  19. Where are you planning to get married? Were you married before, and now a widower, or divorcé?
  20. I thought fiancée since that's what you wrote in your initial message. I got confused about her citizenship from reading your prior topics, but maybe it's a different person. Best of luck figuring things out.
  21. If your fiancée is Russian, are you sure she'd even want to go to Ukraine right now? Is she still living outside of Russia?
  22. I see zero ad, but my blocker says it is blocking 15 on this page only.
  23. Are you planning to get married there? If so, yes, follow their laws.
  24. What's a fiance contract? Being engaged isn't a legal status in the US.
  25. Zero problem, very common occurrence. As long as you have the new passport with you at the interview, they will update the passport number then.
