    I just received email from Montreal with subject - Preparing for your Immigrant VISA Interview - December 2025. There is no date but instructions on how to prepare and attend interview. Am I missing anything ? EB5 - DQ - Aug 2024

    @Journeyman23 Congratulations. Did your CEAC status change before you received your IL ?

    what happens if your DS160 or DS260 (in my case) expires while waiting for your interview ? I was checking CEAC portal and my DS260 has expiration date in 2025.

    Is there any pattern as to when EB invites are mailed ? CR and IR folks usually receive their mail around 2 week of the month.... I am dq'ed Aug-2024 and wondering if any invites will be sent this month /

    I was just sharing the information received from my lawyer. It makes no sense to lump EB5 with other EB's as both visa types have huge variation in terms of number of applicants. Montreal is processing around 100 EB5's every year versus 1000's of EB1/2/3. Anyway, appreciate your input and hopefully we all get our processing done as per our expectations.

    Thank you. It looks like EB5 is not following EB1/2/3 IL dates. I was dq'ed in Aug-24 and my attorney informed me that IL can be expected anytime now.

    Congratulations @Saphrin, your timeline in google spreadsheet does not match with the one posted above. Can you please confirm which of the two is correct ... It is amazing to receive IL within 6 months after approval of your I526 petition.

    So before we receive IL, does the status changes from NVC to something different ?

    Does EB5 follow the same schedule as EB1/2/3 ? I have Aug-2024 DQ date and is it too optimistic to expect interview invite by April 2025 ?
