  1. Thats good news. What was the cases status before "card is being produced"? is it "Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received" or "We Have Received Your Case"?
  2. I believe they're waiting for the July Visa Bulletin, as they suspect the dates could retrogress by 6 to 24 months. If that happens, it would mean extra work rescheduling interviews for applicants whose priority dates are no longer current.
  3. Today I submitted immigrant fees and they mentioned 120days on the receipt.
  4. Here’s what I remember, Where is your employer based? Where do you intend to move in the United States? How long have you been employed with your current employer? What is your current job title? What are your primary job responsibilities? What is the highest degree you have earned? What were your major courses or areas of study under that degree? Which countries have you visited in the past five years? When was your most recent trip to the United States? What was the duration of your longest stay in the United States?
  5. That was very specific to my case, some extended Military records. Here's what I prepared: Appointment Letter – Showing the date and time of the interview Passport – Original + one copy Birth Certificate – Original + one copy Marriage Certificate – Original + one copy Police Certificates – Original only (copy not required) Passport-Size Photos – Two (I got mine taken at Walmart) Employment Letter – No wet signature required I-140 – Original Social Security Card – Original U.S. W-2s and Tax Transcripts – Last 3 years U.S. Bank Statements – Last 3 months U.S. Lease Agreement Note: If you're not currently working in the U.S., you can omit the last 3–4 items.
  6. Just to confirm, I still have view-only access and can’t make any changes.
  7. In the past, I tried to update the file, but I ran into some issues.
  8. My experience with the U.S. Embassy in Montreal was extremely pleasant. Everyone was welcoming, and I was greeted kindly at each step, from document checking to fingerprinting to the final interview. The consular officer was very understanding and professional, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The most important thing is to make sure your current police clearance certificate (PCC) is up to date. In the worst-case scenario, if they need any document which you haven’t provided it, they’ll usually give you a 221(g) notice that clearly states what’s missing. Once you submit the required documents, they’ll move forward with issuing the visa. That’s exactly what happened in my case. I was given a 221(g) due to one missing requirement. I submitted the updated document the next day, and within two days, my status changed from “Refused” to “Issued.”
  9. If you have not lived in those countries again, only visited briefly for a few days, Then, yes, you can typically still use those police certificates. Short visits do not invalidate the police certificates, even if they’re more than two years old.
  10. Yes, sent an email to the consulate and also talked to Customer support. The standard answer is to keep trying. For me, this is the first time scheduling the interview.
  11. No, not yet. I have been trying for the past week without any success.
  12. Hello members, Last week, I got an IV letter from the US consulate MTL, and they asked to schedule the interview. I logged in to the schedule appointment page and, since then, have tried so many times, but always getting an error that "System is busy. Please try again later." Does anyone face the same issue? Any advice on how I can resolve it?
  13. Thanks, @Aaron_ . We got COVID shots three years ago. Do they ask for a booster shot for the COVID vaccine? Moreover, what do you consider in selecting Dr.Zatzman? I believe he is charging the most among the 3 fellows.
  14. Hello, For Immunization Records, where can I find the list of all required vaccines based on the applicant's age? Please help. Thanks
  15. Hello, Can you contact the Montreal Embassy via phone and talk to a live person about your immigration case? Thanks
  16. Hello Everyone, I'm looking for information/help if someone transfer their case from other consulate to Montreal. What is right process and how much time will it take to complete the process? Last week I received the NVC welcome letter and found that Foreign State of Changeability is my country of Birth instead of country of residence (Canada). I contacted NVC and they told your case was transferred to embassy. So I have to contact to the embassy to move the case to Montreal. Please advice if someone have information. Thanks
