  1. The waiting is the hard part lol. On the one hand not hearing anything can be a good thing like not getting more RFEs but also just not knowing when the next update will be can be a drag. So far everything has been smooth sailing apart from my filing mistake in the beginning for my wife AOS so I am grateful for that. 💓
  2. Awesome to hear! I filed 5 days before your but I also got a RFE so I probably waiting a bit for mine. Wishing your interview goes well and glad things are moving quickly for you. 🥰
  3. I was very lucky to get my wife's EAD processed quickly when I did. Just checked currently this is what the current processing time is. There are also many factors that can also play into processing times though as MalloryCat has stated with all the recent changes going on I would expect all kinds of cases with USCIS to be moving more slowly now.
  4. Pretty much exactly why I just mail everything that they might ask for
  5. Hello all, Know this topic been kinda quiet but I'm hoping everyone cases are progressing and going well. 😊
  6. Hello all, My wife is currently awaiting her I-485 to be approved and to get a GC. She already received her EAD and SS card ("VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION"). We are planing to visit my family in NY (We are currently in HI) I was wondering if there are any concerns I should be aware of? I am planning on getting her a state REAL ID since she has a valid foreign passport but the last name is different since we are now married though I am in the process of getting her passport update but it will take awhile and won't be done by the time we are planning on the visit. We will bring her passport and our marriage certificate and NOA just in case as well. WE are just worried with all the changes that is happening with USA immigration we feel maybe we overlooked something or over thinking something. Thank you to everyone that replies. 😊
  7. I see. I was just organizing her paperworks and I noticed the i-94 had expired 2 days before USCIS had received and began processing her case so I was curious if that would affect anything.
  8. Question, While awaiting approval for my wife AOS Does the expiration date on her I-94 affect anything? I already filed everything that I should of needed but I was just wondering if I needed to do anything about it.
  9. My RFE for my I-485 says was delivered on march 11 but my case hasn't updated since then. Did anyone have to wait awhile too for any updates?
  10. Hello, My wife EAD was approved in about 40 days. She received her EAD about 1 week after approval and her SS card (if you had asked for one) 2 days after that.
  11. Sent out my RFE reply back yesterday via priority mail express so hopefully the case will continue processing.
  12. It’s the opposite for me. If it takes 2 weeks to show up i’m lucky. Sometimes up to three weeks for some items for me lol.
  13. Since I live out in the middle of the ocean sometimes stuff takes longer to come in go (here's looking at you Amazon lol) so I didn't want to chance it if it got super late.
  14. I stressed a little too when I was sending in the wife's paperwork that's why I paid for priority mail express. Sadly I still had to pay for it twice and the second time it didn't get there in the time that I paid for it 🤣
