That is very interesting, I have crossed over through Niagara Falls several times and have not experienced any issues so far. Perhaps, the border you crossed do not see many applicants with EB visas?

My DQ is April 2024 for EB1. No IL for me yet. Waiting for it patiently.

When I submitted my DS 260, my passport was valid. However, that passport has now expired and I have a renewed passport. Do I have to inform my new passport number? I am expecting to receive IL soon. Kindly let me know what I should do so that I don't end up delaying further processing. Thanks all.

Sorry for my question, but I do not know what it means by date package received by NVC, under the NVC questions. Which package are we talking about?

How important is it to have valid police clearances from other countries where I have resided in the past? Some countries issue police clearances with very small validity timeframe, since I am not sure when my interview will be I have not gotten updated ones. Kindly let me know if this can be a major problem and if i should make sure I have active/ non-expired ones to present during my interview.

Hi, is that a typo on your part regarding the DQ date? You got an interview letter in 2 months from your DQ? Unless you mean March 21, 2025. My DQ is April 2024 for EB-1, and I have not yet received an Interview Letter.

My DQ is March or April 2024. It is disheartening. I thought EB-1's would get priority specially with the high premium processing fee

Any EB-1 applicants here have any update? I have been waiting for more than 6 months to receive IL. Haven't heard anything yet.

I received a case status update on July 16. Basically the same email that said my case is documentarily complete and it is awaiting interview. Same email was sent to me 2 months ago too. Excerpt from the email "The next communication you receive from NVC will be either a notice that your appointment is scheduled, or if an appointment is not scheduled within the next 60 days, we will send a notice confirming that your case is still in line for an interview."
