That is really why you wasn't offer the job, not a good fit for the company image. It showed thru, when they interviwed you. Try another company with a better attitude.
The person that gave you the information, does not make HR rues or policies. Therefore punching him will not solve your problem, hiring a lawyer to work at "Papa John" is a bit much. Try hiring the lawyer to fix or correct your immigration status, so you will not have these issues in the future.

It's not my place to tell her or her Dad to lie about her marital status. If he lies and his insurance policy company finds out, he will have to deal with the consequencies.

I guess i don't understand how this is even an issue? because some 3000$ lawyer told you so to save their-selves copying it? I don't see how it can hurt to send in all pages, especially as others have said, to prove visits to each others countries and what not. There is a very well known poster on here whose tag line is "follow the directions....really" or something very much similar to this. if it doesn't say on the directions pages that it only needs a biographic page copy specifically then i would not jump the gun and think this is the cause. VJ is priceless, and surely less then a 3000$ lawyer, it isn't perfect, but the knowledge available here is definitely worth more than any lawyer ever could be for a straight forward case.

As I go back and read your story, there are so many missing pieces, that it's hard to give any advise.
File a report with ICE, if when it is time for him to ROC and you'll are still married, then he will have to divorce you to file. If the US still allow him to stay in the US and he receives a 10 year GC, then there is absolutely nothing you can do.
There are statements you have made in some of your previous post leads me to believe that you did not know your husband very well before married. Most Jamaican men have tons of male friends, and usually they associate together.
I truly believe that you didn't know your husband very well before marrying him. Sorry for the problems you are en-countering.

Wrong, the onus of knowing the laws is on you as applicants (both petitioner & beneficiary). By your logic a cop should be following each of around all day to advise of what is and isn't legal. If you can't understand the laws then you should hire a professional who does period.
Because your brother was petitioned by the same petitioned at or around the same time there is a chance that when reviewing your petition they'll also review the other petitions filed by your step-mom.
How will you explain it to him if you cause him to get deported?
Did your family use a lawyer in 1996?
As for the damages you claim, if you really just put your life on hold for 15 years instead of dating working and enjoying daily life then that's a decision you made based on an assumption that USCIS clearly tells all applicants to not make. Just look at any US Embassy website Immigrant Visa section, they all advise the beneficiaries to NOT MAKE ANY PLANS until they actually have a Visa in hand. Your bad choices are your own fault.

Look, these one visit a year, is very hard for the CO to believe that you'll have a true relationship. You are from Jamaica, so it seems that you would be visiting more often if your relationship is that of two people who are madly in love and looking to spend the rest of their lives together. You have the income and you are not burden with children, so there do not seems to be an obstaculars in your way from visiting the love of your life.
You'll burden of proof does seems alittle weak.

There's a separate section of INA 212 specifically dedicated to this subject. Anyone coming to the US to engage in prostitution, or who has engaged in prostitution in the past 10 years, is inadmissible. It doesn't matter if it was legal in the country where they live.

If you have not lived in US after getting married then there was no GC.
You never completed your CR1 process and the documents from embassy in Japan never reached the POE and you were never issued a Green Card.

Why is it arrogant for the US to presume that all foreign nationals entering the US have the intention to immigrate??? Lots of people illegally immigrate to the US every year. The US allows millions of visitors into the country every year. The US also has lots of visitors violate their visitor visas and overstay every year. Why is it arrogant to say if you want to visit the US, you need to prove to us that you have strong ties to your home country to assure us that you will leave when your authorized visit expires????
No one claims that the US is "the best place for any foreigner." For any particular person, the US may not be the best. For lots of people with dreams of a better life, the US is their first choice of any country they would want to immigrate to.
Given the choice between the USA and Columbia, you and your wife choose the US.
Why is it callous to immigrating children? You and your wife took her out of Columbia. You choose to separate her from her father. You and your wife could have chose a life in Columbia where your stepdaughter could see her father whenever. She is free to travel back to Columbia anytime she wants to see her father.
I like you. I am not trying to start a fight. I feel what you posted is unfair.

I assume to move to the US the father had to give his permission right? That sort of takes away any special consideration as the father had to give up certain rights to allow the child to move in the first place
    Good luck

USCIS checks the petitioner and all of the petitioner documents for legalities.
NVC checks the Beneficiary and all documents for legalities for those going thru AOS only i.e finance documents
The embassy does a check within the country on the Beneficiary and all documents for legalities... i.e PC reports, prior marriages, etc and name check

The sad thing here is that they didn't even look into what it would take to get her here legally until after she'd already left the country on a VWP Overstay and was detained trying to enter again.
Seriously, the system didn't fail them, they failed by depending on assumptions.
