    Hi, I wonder if we are to return the OHIP card immediately after receiving the stamp. In our case, it will most likely take 3 months before we can actually move after the interview (resign from our current job, etc.).

    Congratulations! Do you know if the CRA considers us non-residents in the moment we get the stamp? I am hoping to have my interview on March but still need to sell our house... I also wonder how to deal with the ohip card after receiving the stamp but still staying in Canada couple of months after that.

    As of January 14, 2025, most Immediate Relative and fiancé(e) visa cases being scheduled for interview in Montreal were documentarily complete at the National Visa Center in September 2024; most Family Preference cases with visa numbers available that are being scheduled for interview were documentarily qualified in October 2024; and most Employment cases scheduled for interview were documentarily complete in January 2024.

    As EB-1A you do not need any job offer. You just tell them that you have many plans and will start looking for a job after you land. I plan to bring an updated resume and originals of my main degrees. Good luck with your friends interview!

    I agree. It does not really speed the process whether EB 1/2/3/5. The DQ and the currency seem to be all that matters. It seems there are 12 months of waiting for the IL. My DQ is at the end of January, so I'm hoping to be on the next patch.

    It seems there have been no ILs in December. Are there no interviews for February? My DQ is on Jan 24, so I'm waiting…
