For context, we received our NOA2 at the beginning of March 2024, and had a validity period of March 1 to June 30. However, in May we received a NEW NOA2 with all the same information (and case number, as NVC confirmed) but with the validity period reset from May to September. It was super confusing but makes a point that the appropriate parties are aware of your validity period and will provide you support if the period has a need to be extended. You may not receive a new NOA2 as we did, but the agencies are aware. You won't be held liable for any extensions that the agencies themselves need to impose.

To clarify, partial completions of the DS-160 are stored for up to 30 days. Saving to your hard drive circumvents the 30 day cutoff, as the FAQ outlines. One third of 32,529: 10,843 Difference between 3/28 Processing status and today: 10,819 Now I can't claim that all of those removed from Processing went to Interview Scheduled buuuut... I was only off by a count of 24. Time for another prediction: in the next 30 days, five accounts, including ours, will have announced that we have our interviews scheduled. Because at this pace, 60% will have changed out of Processing by then.

The answer isn't important; it's the confidence in your relationship. The toothbrush question is a prime example of that.

The fact that you are focused on marrying her to pursue this plan of action screams immigration fraud. You elect to apply for the fiance or spousal visas to pursue a life with a person you love in the United States. Using those visas as a means to circumvent an expiring visa is beyond inappropriate. There is a better argument for the age difference when the man is older, because of very real biological reasons. An older woman cannot create a family with her spouse. An older man with a younger spouse can. Can't argue with that.

As someone who worked in the travel industry, both as flight crew and hotel operations, it does. Flight pricing functions a lot differently than hotel pricing, although they get grouped together a lot. Typically hotels function on reaching and holding occupancy, therefore as the occupancy rises closer to a date, the prices hop up. Flights do not function this way. They tend to spike at the normal time people book--3 to 6 months out--and then plummet in the remaining weeks to overcompensate for potential undersells related to the industry a whole. It's a more complicated algorithm of measuring airline and airport specific metrics on efficiency. A trend that shows an airport likely to have more delayed or cancelled connections, could result in a sharp uptick in discounted seats in the remaining weeks, as they anticipate last-minute availability. Of course it doesn't always work out the way they intended--this is why flights overselling can create problems. But from the airlines' perspective, it's usually cost effective to gamble on sales this way. Bottom line after all the shop talk, keep an eye on midweek pricing, and don't be afraid to hit the market closer to the date. With flights, earlier is not always better like it is with hotels.

I really don't know how you guys do it, packing your entire lives to switch countries. My husband doing it marvels me. There was a lot going on and somehow in all of it, he managed to sell all the essentials, store the rest, and move with just a couple bags. Mindboggling. Truly happy to see movement for you!

Any evidence provided as indicative of a planned wedding may be misconstrued as you having already been married. Don't do this. As JM says, each party should submit a letter of intent to marry, detailing their understanding of the relationship and the desire to marry. Please sign both letters, and write them independent of one another. Nothing else is needed for this, and as stated, anything additional may work against you.
