I made an INFOPASS Apointment! If your EAD has not been approved in 90 days and you don't have an RFE you can request a service request to expidite it.
First off DanielParul, CONGRATS on the news..CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that has passed interviews, received interview notices, Received EAD's/Ap's.
Just wanted to let you all know that my paperwork has been sent in for the second RFE!! So all good news, hopefully once they get that with the expidited service request i will get it soon.
I would like to know how did you do the expidited service request on EAD?????

Hoping for all good news for you! You can probably ask for an expidted service request to be put in....
Hi everybody. We have our info pass tomorrow. Hopefully we will have good news. -

Are you putting the Reciept # from the NOA or from the Back of the check?
If its from the back of the check, then you must wait for the NOA Receipt and enter that one!

I have 2 huge dogs and no this is not right no matter who it is. The dog could have flown off the roof and no one would have known. Besides the scare the dog is having up there, all bumpy on the FREEWAY no less.
Yes, my girls like to hang their heads out the window, but I have control of them I see what they are doing and i notice as soon as I get on the freeway with them they lay down. As far as the back of the pick up, that is also very dangerous as they could jump out at anytime depending if they were well trained or not . I know someone who had his hunting lab on a leash in the back of the truck and the dog saw a squirrel and leaped out and then straggled himself by the time the Owner realized his head wasnt showing.
Sorry I am sort of ####### about taking care of your pets properly.

OMG! That is TERRIBLE.
He deserves the same treatment. I don't tolerate those kinds of things, it makes me MAD!
That is animal cruelty

First off Stlie, Thank you so much for your input! The IO I spoke with this morning put in a Service Request to Expidite the EAD.
For other news regarding my RFE's: The IO (I was seen 15prior to my apointment, and he was just the nicest gentleman and even commented that I was "So organized". I got there with a rolling file box. LOL) said that as far as the assets go, its very delicate and it needs to be compiled "just so" and that the "just so" is all up to the Adjucator working on each case (of course we all knew this), but I showed him all the paperwork for my Joint Sponsor and he gave it a Thumbs UP! He said they just want to see a good solid number on the taxes. Its just easier for them. (Yeah, great government employees - as long as it doesnt put to much work for them they will accept it).
So keep your fingers crossed that I check on line in the next few days and there will be good news.

Hi Everyone!
So I got all the paperwork for the Joint Sponsor together Yeeeeahhhhh!
I have an Infopass apointment (that i made when I first got the second RFE) so I am going to bring the information with me as well as the entire 1 1/2 lb book i sent with my husbands $250K and more of assets and verify that is what they want. Actually show it all to them and ask if indeed that is what they need!
If it is then the package is getting sent out tomorrow.
Oh and Congrats to all who have been moving forward. I will have some good news soon.

Ok!
So just to clarify, on a joint tax return that my joint sponser is sending in with a permanant resident as a spouse on his taxes i do not need to send in anything other than his tax information (ie: W2, 1099,1040 and schedules)?
-
Hi Everyone!
Hope all is well!
So I finally am getting to the paperwork for my RFE for the Joint Sponsor, here are my questions:
1) My JS used to be my Husbands roomate and his taxes for '07 have our address on it? He no longer lives here and his Drivers License has his current address. I know that there is a seperate form for "Household Sponsors", but if he no longer lives here then he still must fill the I864 right?
2) My JS is married and they claim thier taxes together, do she have to do anything? She is not sponsoring me.
3) My JS's wife is a Permanent Resident, will this cause any concern or is there anything I should be aware of sponsor wise?
I hope this is clear, thank you all for your help. I just cannot get another RFE, this already is the second one and my poor nerves will be shot to hell if i get another one.
Cheers

Well in Limbo at the moment. Trying to figure out the next step really.
I can't tell you how much I want to kick someone in the balls at USCIS for not looking at the $250K + in assets that my sweet husband has.
I just can't even think about it...my 31st Birthday is coming up soon and we were supposed to go to Puerto Rico, but we are stuck here now because my drivers license is about to be expired and I need the EAD to renew it....
-
UPDATE:
So, i was supposed to meet with my joint sponsor yesterday to take care of all the paperwork. And guess what?
His house was broken into and his laptop was stolen (among other things) on Saturday night. Poor guy!
Soo, I am stuck in limbo and I am just about to just not give a $hit anymore.

Hi Everyone,
First off, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who is moving along. Ella, it finally came I bet you are thrilled and an interview date.
That is just awesome..
I have been a bit MIA. Just a little update, I havent been able to get the our friend to fill out the papers for the Joint Sponsor yet. He has been out of the country. A bit irritiating, but hopefully will be getting it out this week.
Things have been stressful around here, finances are getting tighter and because I can't work its putting a bit of a strain on us. I dont even check the website or here very often anymore
But I am hoping that once I get the papers in that they want, it will fly through.
All the best to everyone and I may be MIA for a bit longer. But I'll come give un update once I get one.

Yeah well i guess I have been delving into the politics and economics of this country recently (seeing as I will be a citizen soon), and am not quite sure what the word is maybe "disapointed" , so i was just curious on that side I guess.
I have grown up all over the world, Asia, Mexico and Europe and seen a lot so was just wanting to get other people's views on wether this is somewhere they would chose to live if it weren't for the SO.

So sorry to hear that!
From what I have read on here they are notorious for losing the Medical, so sorry!
Well all the best and good thoughts your way!
hello everybody.....I think i have the same problem that you've having.....I get a RFE about my birth certificate in april 28th, i send everything back in the same week and in july 21st I received a Request of Initial Evidence asking for medical examination that ether they lost or the one i had expired 5 or 10 days after i sing the I-485....So they took 3 months to tell me i need to do the medical again....now....i paid almost 400 dollares to re-do some test and some new vaccinations that they now ask, like HPV that cost me 130 dollares..only on that...and the best thing i had not hear anything about my EAD and travel document yet....is been 4 months almost..... -
Ella,
I really really feel for you! I know this is tough for you. Stay strong and we are right here with ya'
Steph, hopefully when they receive your forms for joint sponsor, your case will move ahad really fast! I agree with you that probably we know more about the process than some of those new people they hire...I'm just tired of saying that there is absolutely nothing new in my case, not even 1 small touch.
And it's not only to you guys on VJ but also to my friends and family, I wish I could tell them that something is finally going on. I think that I'm doing pretty good anyway about not complaining much... Really trying to be patient.
Sometimes it just makes me really angry when I see people that filed in June getting their EAD, it sucks that USCIS puts away more complicated cases for later and is working on the simple ones only. It's just not fair.
Here, my venting done, too

Just an interesting thought I had today!
Would you all immigrate to USA if it weren't for the one you love within the last 4 years?
-
So, just a quick update.
I got the RFE in the mail today, and its what I thought. They didn't even look at the 200+ pages of Evidence of Assets I sent them which was looked over by a lawyer. They Just sent out another RFE about the I864!
After fighting back a lot of frustration and a few tears, I do have a close friend that has offered to act as a Joint Sponsor.
Sooooo, we are starting the I864 with the Joint Sponsor and hope to get that all to them within a week or so.
Lesson learned, USCIS does not mean one thing they say on their website. If it requires them to look at any additional pages or items they are not "quite familiar with" they will send you an RFE. (I am assuming that since they are on this big "PUSH" and hired all these new people there are still "GREEN" adjucators. I seriously probably know more about some of this stuff then they do.
Ok Venting done!
-
Whew!
Thanks Heliosphan. Big help.
Yeah I did. It was exaclty the same as the 1st one. It looked like they didn't even look at the 200 pages of Evidence of Assets I sent.
I was such a cry baby today, trying to keep it together but man its and ordeal with these people. Especially when everything I read and the lawyers tell me that the papers I sent in were plenty.
But oh well, we all come through. Its a bit discouraging though. You know I keep thinking If i had the same work ethic doing the kind of half a$$ job that some of these adjucators are I would be permantly jobless.
-
Thanks.
However I already have a sponsor (My husband, with more than enough assets that they are choosing to look right over), so its necassary for us to ask his brother to be the joint sponsor in which case he (the brother) would fill out an I864A?
Am I correct?
Or is there another form the Joint Sponser is to fill out? The Regular 864?
Sorry for the confusion its been a long freakin day!
Here are the requirements of being a sponsor:A sponsor is required to be at least 18 years old and domiciled in the United States, or its territories or possessions.
In your scenario the sponsor will fill prepare and submit an I-864, as your facts and circumstances do not allow for an I-864A.
-
Sorry I didnt explain properly. What I mean't was I got an RFE for a joint Sponsor and wanted to know if his brother that lives in another state would qualify as a sponsor being that he lives in another state.
Thanks all.
