Good morning,
I have my interview in a week and thinking to bring my tax return documents for 2023 as we filed our taxes after I applied for citizenship. My question is do I want to upload it online or just bring into the office? Did they ask you for it?
I took my 2023 tax transcript and the officer asked if I had filed but didn’t want to see the actually transcript.

If you read the forum, you'd see some IOs only performed N-400 because they weren't ready for I-751. Giving heads up might have been helpful.
Ok but correlation doesn’t equal causation. They have our entire A file (which has all forms filed) so why do we need to “request” a combo?

Yay! Good luck. Did you upload any letters along with your n400? Like requesting combo interview?
No I didn’t - it kinda seemed pointless to do so if I am honest…
-
My n400 interview is scheduled but my i751 still says “case received”. I guess we will see what happens in a month but I will assume a combo interview.

Fairfax, DC area? Several folks applied these months and it is taking less than normal, around 3 months.
I applied in November for DC and haven’t heard anything…

I wonder why they think it is normal to make people wait for two years and more? Their delay looks like one of the things that make us think to pack and leave to my home country. They think too much of themselves, like absolutely everybody dreams of US, and wants to wait forever for their case to be looked at? Not really. And their mania for numerous interviews is odd. Always felt awkward, uncomfortable and gross displaying personal family photos and intimate correspondence to them to “prove your case is bona fide”. It’s like somebody stranger picking through your soiled laundry. Private life must remain private, or American so-called freedoms exist only on paper.
Why does it make you want to pack up and leave? ROC delays have zero impact on our ability to do anything, so I really don’t see the issue?

Hey all!
I filed for N400 Jan 14 online and today I received a notification that my interview was scheduled for Feb 27. But nothing on my pending I-765, which is making me wonder if I need to notify USCIS to request a combined interview...any thoughts? I filed after having my green card for 3 years on the basis of a US spouse.
Thanks so much!

When did you file your I-751? Could you add it to your timeline please? There's so few Potomac filers, it's super helpful to see!
Sure - I will do that when i get some space time. Filed in early December 2022.
-
I just submitted my n400 and have a pending Potomac ROC application. Things seem smooth so far, biometrics reused and a 10 month estimated approval timeline. Let’s see what happens.

Filed last night - biometrics reused instantly. Apparently I have a 10 month wait ahead of me (down from 17 before the biometrics reuse notice).
