  1. You don't need tax returns for employment based visa. But as always if you have these documents it never hurts to bring them.
  2. Returned means visiting for any length of time. If you have gone for a vacation/ to visit family you must have a police report from the last 2 years. As for the expiry date I am not sure. I have one from my home country (UK) and one from canada, but neither have an expiry date. So I don't have an answer for that one.
  3. Has anyone seen reports of anyone from any categories getting letters this month for May interview dates? There has been none that I have seen and still no update on the website in 2 months. It is so wild how inconsistent they are with everything... I wish I could understand the logic to help have a better guess of when we will be called....
  4. They say on the website the prioritize everything over employment. https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/consular-operations-updates/
  5. There is about a 2 year wait currently. There is a whole thread about it. They are currently processing E visas from July 2022. So you are in for a long wait
  6. So confused how its the 20th March and montreal still have not updated the website. Hopefully they are just so busy clearing the backlog to update the website
  7. https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/consular-operations-updates/ This is montreals website of where they update what month they are working on in the backlog. Its updated once a month. They are currently on July 2022. So 20 months behind. So yes currently a 1.5-2 year delay. If you can go to any other embassy or apply using AOS it is highly recommended.
  8. This group is for employment. We don't really track the other groups too much. But they go out once a month. Different dates for each group. So you will likely receive an invite in march for the end of april/may
  9. @KDEE @Alex Nzo @Beatles27 @A.R.M Have any of you had an interview letter yet? I believe you are all next in line from the spreadsheet... but still have not seen any letters being sent out since May 2023.

  11. It seems nobody has received any interview letters since March in any category spreadsheets, is that actually correct? I really hoped they would make more progress through this backlog by now. I remember one of the other groups cleared 13 months in one month when they were the priority. I'm so shocked they still haven't seemed to prioritize EB visas.....
  12. https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/eAgendaViewRule?pubId=202210&RIN=1400-AF31 So I was reading that the DOS is ruling to waive in person consular interviews in April. Do we think this is going to apply to EB interviews and do you think this will instantly approve everyone who is already DQ'd? It would be really nice to skip this whole process altogether - or perhaps do some kind of online version!
