  1. Yes, for sometime during examination they asked to take off underwear also. First asked her to wear gown, and then asked to take that off also during examination.
  2. One of my relative recently have her medical exam in Lahore. She was asked to take off her clothes completely. She is her lower 30s and complete it. Is this a normal and one should be expected for it? I had my medical exam for USA 10 years ago and can't recall that I asked to take off my clothes.
  3. Hi @AAKhan, I am also needed one W7. Can you please kindly explain do you email W7 to IRS, or mail it with your tax returns? How do you get both spouses signature on tax return when one spouse is in Pakistan?
  4. I'm recently married, I'm submitting I-130 application for my spouse. Should I upload the marriage photos? Under which section should I upload it?
  5. Only Pakistani citizens can have the NICOP. With giving up citizen, you are also giving up the NICOP. After that you can have the POC (Pakistan origin card) that I believe also let you visa free entry in Pakistan.
  6. This is very long duration for a long distance. Any tips for making it easy? How often do you visit? I married few month back knowing and expecting that immigration will take roughly 3 years. My spouse is already stressing out out due to long distance. How do I make it easy for both of us?
  7. Marriage certificate is issued by Nadra. Does it need foreign office certification? I also don’t see it mentioned.
  8. Hi, can I ask when she applied and how much time it take to get visa?
  9. > Marriage certificate from Nadra (certified by foreign office) Does marriage certificate require certificating from Nadra? I don’t see this is mentioned. How do you do it?
  10. What Instagram or Facebook page to follow for updates?
  11. Hmmm, time wise there is no advantage for K1? I’m reading here on some post that K1 visa process sooner than Spouse visa. This is the only reason I’m considering K1.
  12. Thanks a lot for reply. Which one will take less time (considering backlogs in Islamabad embassy)? The only priority at this time is to bring her here as soon as possible to live together.
  13. I’m USA citizen originally from Pakistan. I got engaged to Pakistani girl in Pakistan. Should I apply her K1 visa now or get married in Pakistan and apply for spousal visa? I can get married in pakistan but for Pakistanis there is too much back log for spouse visas. The Islamabad embassy is currently send interviews for those with DQ May 2021. So I’m estimating it would take 3-4 years. Will K1 visa processing be any faster? Should it be wise that I apply for K1 visa and postpone the marriage? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
  14. This is what I don’t understand. Some approved in days while other are waiting for years.
  15. You can get a certified copy of your Nikkah Nama from local union council where your Nikah was originally registered. I would not advise to take a risk as it further delay the immigration specially when it is just a visit to your local Union Council. If you can’t find time, you can hire some local attorney to do it for you.
  16. Congratulations for getting an interview. What was you DQ? Do you mind filling your timeline?
  17. As iwannaplay54 said, you will need these documents again and again. Luckily, you have a time as you can get both in a week. It is long wait for interview so don’t take risk and get duplicate of them again as soon as possible.
  18. I’m wondering if it is worth to try to get the residency or study visa for some other cheaper country just for this? I’m thinking about Dubai where it would be relatively easier to get residency. I’m preparing I130 for my spouse and it seems it would take at least four years so trying to figure out what can be done to make it faster.
  19. Have anyone tried first going to some other country on study or work visa (UAE/Dubai, Oman etc.) and processing their case from that country ?
