A "baller" is a rich person. And yes, I would want a housekeeper. Life is short, I hate cleaning, and if I could swing it, I see no reason to do it out of some misguided sense of what women are "supposed" to do. And yes, I know there are some women who would never let another soul clean their floors--my mom is like that--I couldn't care less.

"Global Warming" is a misnomer; that's why people usually use "climate change" now. I think it's more about all-over extreme weather in general, not just "everywhere getting warmer."

It's not genetic, but if you have a healthy relationship model in your parents, you have a far better chance of having healthy relationships yourself and being less messed up all-around.
The rest of us have to go to therapy. :-P

How you met them has no bearing. Maybe the language barrier makes red flags harder to spot... but more often than not people simply choose to ignore the flashing red light and concentrate on sex appeal or charisma or what have you. I don't think anyone deserves to be treated badly, but if you put up with it, you are complicit in your own unhappiness.
As far as Why_me and Slim go, I don't Kip would EVER stop fantasizing about twins in miniskirts or whatever. And for every example of unhappiness, there are guys like Gary and Baron and Brad who seem pretty darn happy and don't seem to have experience with the negative sides you describe. I also have plenty of female friends who aren't like that at all.
Bottom line, people make their own beds and can learn from their mistakes. Don't put up with less than you deserve and you'll get what you deserve. I think maybe some men are blinded by the beauty of RUB women because yeah, they know how to work it and might put up with ####### they wouldn't put up with from someone who comes in a less shiny package. Perhaps people should ask themselves, "Would I put up with this behavior if this chick was a six instead of a nine?"

I don't think one person's experience can be taken as evidence. I'd look and see why you ended up with women with such negative personality traits and unhealthy attitudes toward relationships in the first place. As the saying goes, water seeks its own level. Something about you attracts and is attracted to these kinds of women.

Unless someone is from a very repressed culture where sex isn't talked about openly/is something shameful--I read about a case study of a small island off the coast of Ireland where, in the 60s or so, the population was declining because sex was so taboo, people didn't even really KNOW about it--I don't think nationality has much to do with sex, whether someone is just going through the motions/acting or having multiple Os. It has more to do with the specific relationship between two people, IMO.

The place where I got my documents translated does apostilles for diplomas. Look for a sort of document-preparing clearing house. It is NOT something you can do from the US. I had to go back to the United States to get apostilles for my American education documents. If she goes to one of those bureaus and tell them what she needs (apostille for purposes of international recognition of educational documents), they'll probably be able to point her in the right direction.

Duvet covers aren't hard... just turn it inside out, line up the corners, grab the farthest corners from the inside, turn the whole thing inside out, and shake it out. Much easier than bothering with a separate comforter and top sheet. I always get everything tangled when I sleep.

Lighten up about what? Maybe you'd have to be a woman to understand, but it is no way a subject deserving of levity, or "I want to fly to RUB so I can grab woman's breasts/asses with impunity and no fear of retaliation because, hey, they're cool with it over there."

I think this is something that must be generational, because none of the FSU women I know around my age would react the way Alla did--except for maybe the thing about paying on the date.
I have a friend who was being sexually harassed on her job on a regular basis (making suggestive comments, grabbing her boobs, etc.), and it was making her very upset. I think her boyfriend went down to her job and threatened the guy. When we were discussing it, everyone was saying "No, this is not okay, you should not put up with it and should file an official complaint."
Sexual harassment, rape, etc. aren't about a woman still having "it." It is a way of saying that women don't have agency over their own bodies. It is about power. Someone who was sincerely interested in a woman would NOT just grab her boobs as a way of hitting on her, and any woman who took that guy seriously as a romantic interest would need to have her head examined.
