    COURTESY EMAIL

    Greetings EARTHLING

USCIS has completed pre-processing checks on the applications listed below and the cases have been transferred to the Orlando Field Office for processing.

    A*************

    IOE*****************

While review of the case is pending, you have an opportunity to supplement the file with additional documentation that you believe may support your (your client’s) eligibility for the immigration benefit. Please do not resubmit the same documentation you submitted with the initial application.

During our review, an Immigration Services Officer will determine whether we may waive an interview, based on the specific facts of the application and the immigration record.

We are looking for evidence of the bona fides of relationships from the inception of the relationship to present. This evidence may include, but is not limited to, the following:

    • Copy of Birth Certificates.
    • Copy of Marriage Certificates.

    ·         Evidence you and your spouse terminated any prior marriages, if applicable, (e.g., copy of Final Judgement of Dissolution of Marriages or/and Death Certificates).

    • Documents showing joint ownership of property, such as mortgage agreements or payments, property titles, or property registrations; Lease(s) showing the same residence; Documents showing shared finances and obligations (such as joint bank account(s), credit card statements, telephone bills, gas bills, electric bills, water bills, other utility bills, joint income taxes, joint insurance policies, insurance policies where one spouse is the dependent of the other, etc.); Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to the spouses; or pictures of wedding and other events. We are unable to return original photographs. Feel free to send photo/scanned copies.
    • Form I-693 (For detailed information, please see https://www.uscis.gov/i-693) Please note all completed Form I-693s must be mailed or dropped off to USCIS in a sealed envelope. Forms I-693s cannot be scanned or emailed.
    • Evidence of latest entry into the United States.
    • Certified copy of complete Record of Conviction, in case of any arrest(s) (e.g., police reports, charging documents, and court disposition showing how each incident was resolved).
    • Any other documents you determine are pertinent to your application.

All documents in any language other than English must be accompanied by a complete, accurate and Certified English translation of the entire document.

Please do not staple the documents or send binders.

If you wish to submit supplemental documentation, you may

    ·         Scan and upload it to your USCIS online account, except for Form I-693 that must be mailed or dropped off to USCIS in a sealed envelope.

    ·         Send the documentation via mail, to the following address:

To the Attention of Records OM0006

    USCIS Orlando Field Office

    6680 Corporate Centre Blvd

    Orlando, FL, 32822

Please Include your Alien Number, Case Receipt Number, and a complete copy of this e-mail with your response.

Submitting all required evidence and supporting documentation can help to avoid an unnecessary delay in the adjudication of your application. If you are unable to provide additional documents at this time, and our review determines insufficient evidence, a Request for Evidence or Notice of Intent to Deny will be issued in accordance with USCIS policy.

    Sincerely,

    U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

    Orlando Field Office

Oh shoot… I just passed the knowledge test for the driving permit and they told me to change the name on my SSN card to my married name first before getting my permit issued. I’ll go to the SSA office tomorrow and see if they can update my name so that I can proceed with the driving permit. Not being able to drive is a big limitation in the Midwest🥲

My wife had the same problem. She went to the SSA and they told her that she first needs her EAD before she can make the change. We are in Massachusetts.

    Form I-485 question part 2 , 2?
mare you applying for adjustment based on the immigration and nationality act section 245(i) ??

how do you know ? And if yes it says u need a supplement A? Can someone explain this to me better?

    Quote

The Immigration and Nationality Act was enacted in 1952, while Section 245(i) was included by Congress in 1994. Section 245(i) aims to provide undocumented immigrants with a legal means of changing their unlawful status to lawful status and obtaining lawful permanent residence

So it doesn't apply to your spouse. Check the guide :

    https://www.visajourney.com/guides/adjustment-of-status-k1-k3-visas/

And here are some examples but don't use these forms as they are expired, use the one downloaded from the USCIS website

Is this your CEAC login? Mine says 'IMMIGRANT VISA'  when I log in and now I am confused!

    It is this page: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

You use "Non-immigrant visa" to track with the DS-160 number which is faster. To track with the NVC number you choose "Immigrant Visa" but it takes longer to get the result. They both give you the same answer.
