I just got married September 3, 2022. We had been dating for almost 5 years. How many screenshots (ie. per month of the relationship) of text conversations should I compile to submit for evidence with my i130 application? We had only seen each other twice during this time period. I do have photos, travel itinerary and receipts saved from my visits to his country. My husband is not in the US currently and he doesn't have a visa.

Send all receipts (if you used credit cards, you can download the statements and highlight the charges and explain what they were for (yes, I very thorough)) you have for all trips, expenses (even if you send him money, e.g. MoneyGram, Western Union, etc. (you can log in and download transactions by Year to excel spreadsheet -  make sure it has name, address and amount (reason for sending money not necessary but can be explained in a cover letter)).  Photos of any occasion and label who is in the picture/what occasion was (if family/friends are in there mention who they are).  As for texts, I purchased an app online that converted my conversations to a PDF file.  I had thousands of pages and they were all in Spanish (they must be translated to English).  My lawyer decided to have a few pages from the beginning of courtship, middle and up to the most recent (5-6 pages of each; nothing "racy").  I hope I successfully attached a copy of her wording herewith.  Also you can screenshot the phone log of the last few months as additional proof (mine was a little easier to do because  the only person I communicate with via WhatsApp).  Hope you find this helpful!!!! Good luck.

The Spanish version of the page is up to date though and it says as of today they are reviewing cases submitted July 28th! This happened a couple months ago too and they updated the English page again within a day or so.

Awesome!!!!! I am already following on the app and online in English. Guess I'll add the Spanish version to my checklist 🤣🤣

We got DQ today after submission on 17 July. However, we also got this message:

    Case FE Review note
This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

I am checking with our attorney about what this means, as we already have a joint sponsor whose documents were accepted.

    Congratulations!!!!! ❤️

Question: I first initial submitted mine and my joint sponsor AOS on Aug 23. This morning I notice he accidentally left off the last letter in my husbands first name so we are correcting it and uploading the corrections and the I-864 form in its entirety with a note stating the reason for the correction. Since my forms have not even been reviewed by NVC yet and my first initial AOS was submitted Aug 23 NVC should go by that date correct?

I didn't realize this... then my form date of submission was 9/26, not 8/29... it's a few days earlier, but I'll take it.  Thanks for this tip!

Congrats! From my understanding from the group I am with other from DR you should be getting your interview letter in about 3 months. And from then your interview will be about 5 weeks from that letter. Good luck!!

Which other group is this?  Is it on VisaJourney... can you let me know so I can  join and monitor as well?  Thanks

  7. Hi everyone... I'm new VJ and I've looked around/read much info and very pleased.  So here it goes:  My USCIS I-130 RFE was approved late July and moved to NVC/accepted on Aug 5  for CR1/IRI1 (after waiting an entire year (originally submitted on Aug 21, 2021).  I paid all fees immediately and received notice on Aug 9th to submit DS-260 and Civil Docs/I-864 and AOS docs.  Worked with an attorney and since she was on vacay, there was a little lag, but everything was finally entered/submitted on Aug 26th.

I just read today, Monday 9/12, that NVC timeline moved and are currently working on applications submitted on 7/6/22.  And I read someone in the "July 2022" thread said he had submitted his stuff on July 8th and he got approved today Sept 9th (lucky him)!!! Very exciting -- waiting for a RFE-free DQ, too.  Good luck everyone.
