  1. It would be even scarier if USCIS spent all the time pending (months, years) actively working on cases. It would be meaning backlogs of hundreds of millions...
  2. One month of statements is clearly not enough. In this case, I recommend sending everything you have, including full joint bank statements since the beginning of marriage until now. Plus all previous and current leases and other great evidence you mentioned such as son's birth certificate, deed etc. The bets are, if you sent them all the monthly statements initially, you could have been approved now instead of receiving RFE.
  3. You'll probably need I-693 at some point. Knowing you declined some vaccinations during exam, how isn't it obvious that exam is incomplete?
  4. When you moved, were both AR-11 and I-865 filed? When you filed I-751 did you provide copies of IDs / DLs showing same address? Did you send all pages for bank statements? Did you send monthly statements, quarterly or just a few random ones?
  5. Are you sure you didn't file early? Date calculator shows: 12/1/2024 minus 90 days is 9/2/2024 90 days and 3 months is not the same.
  6. Adjudicator probably wants to seee fresh evidence given it's been over 2 years now. But posting redacted RFE here would help
  7. Yes, you'll likely need a joint sponsor.
  8. G-1145 wouldn't be applicable here. No payment is requires other than certified mail / courier mail. When did you file I-751?
  9. Estimated times are hugely inaccurate.
  10. Check cases outside of myUSCIS. This is more reliable https://egov.uscis.gov/ It doesn't require singning in and almost always available unlike myUSCIS. You're not alone experiencing issues with myUSCIS.
  11. That's aweful advice. Staying married for immigration benefit is fraud. Yes, divorce waiver can take longer, but what's the hurry? The friend will get 4 year extension letter. They'd have same rights as somebody with 10 year GC.
  12. But how would this matter? Would your friend stay married to get GC approved faster if it was faster for joint filers? That's considered fraud .
  13. I recommend having a plan B (joint sponsor) if this income is not accepted.
  14. Absolutely unreliable. No, they're two separate applications.
  15. This paper is telling you what's needed to get your case approved.
  16. There were cases when 10 year GC was renewed with no problem, but citizenship denied. I-90 doesn't trigger all the checks N-400 does.
  17. Official paper asks for sponsor. Why are you questioning their request?
  18. Weren't you suppose to get some written request for missing evidence besides emails?
  19. A common approach is... 1) Joint checking account to pay mortgage / rent and bills that are reoccuring. It can also be used to cut checks for large purchases, home renovations, tax payments. It can be also be used for receiving tax refunds. 2) Joint savings account(s) to hold emergency fund, save towards house downpayment, other goals for you as a family 3) Separate personal checking accounts to pay off credit cards for miscellaneous purchases. May employers allow splitting paycheck to multiple accounts automatically. My family this approach. Both I-485 and later I-751 approved.
  20. In case they make $175K a year and have no other dependants, they don't need to list assets. Tax return transcipts are always preferred. They're downloadable from IRS website for free.
  21. Where you physically in court when getting decision on divorce?
  22. Do they know what bilingual is ?😃 Interesting suggestion, I heard of people translating the non-English part even though it already has English. If this works, I guess it saves money.
  23. USCIS doesn't process cases in strict first in first out queue. Each case is unique.
