    Typically one has to order certified copies online or in person and pay the fees. At least this is how it works in county where I got married. Have you done that? I mean not marriage license application and fees to get married. But fees to get certified copy of marriage certificate. In many counties you can get it same day when requested in person or in few days if purchased online.

    But they most likely will, regardless of answer to question about denials. DOS is pretty aware of people with multiple citizenships. They'd not allow such loophole. If you were placed under admin processing, there's a reason why you're being checked more thoroughly. It's not like you're a different person if you use different passport. You're still you.

    It's awesome that interview was quick and you weren't needed for N-400 under 3 year rule. Congrats on oath ceremony!!!

    This is not how it works. Anybody who is a resident for 5 or more years can apply based on 5 year rule, regardless how they got GC. I applied on 5 year rule, even though I got GC based on marriage to US citizen and still married.

    Previous marriages info. If you filed online, it only asked you relevant questions which is why you may not have seen it. Download N-400 paper form and you'll see it. People who were married before need to put this info

    Other civil surgeon might have asked for a new medical again with full fee. Sorry you're so unfortunate with civil surgeons!

    This is normal. Any verbal promises are not legally binding. IO may have been unaware of wait times for oath. They can only process so many people at single ceremony...

    There's about 8600 other people who filed in August 2024 waiting for the interview. It's not unusual at all.

    ESTA won't be approved 99.9%. You need to list all citizenships when applying for ESTA. The moment they see you're the same guy in admin processing, ESTA will be denied. The country of origin and security risks associated with it. Don't waste your time on ESTA.

    Sounds like a weak plan. I don't think change of status would work in the US. I don't think B2 is going to be issued overseas either

    The VJ rules precede Trump by few decades. AFAIK, these rules almost never change here regardless of administration in the house.

    Pretty normal. There's ~13500 cases like yours on November filers. Only about ~2400 filers were approved.
