  1. It looks like NVC is working hard to reduce the backlog! hope they keep the pace so other are reviewed sooner than expected 🙏🏾
  2. What a surprise before weekend!!!! Congrats! Now take a breath and enjoy the weekend. Happy to see you were DQ ☺️
  3. Mine had shadows and there were no issues. Hope you all get DQ! 🙏🏽
  4. Yeah, that's a common issue documents. Another thing I've seen multiple times is to use PDF instead of JPG because sometimes for unknown reasons, the uploaded JPG is rotated. With PDF, that doesn't happen.
  5. Did you scan it vertically or horizontally? In color as well, right? Another question. Which file format did you use? PDF or JPG?
  6. Take a look at this question/answer: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview/appointment.html#int1 Can I include my children if they were not originally part of the case? If the visa for which you are applying allows derivative children, your unmarried children under the age of 21 may be added as derivative applicants after your interview has been scheduled. You must directly contact the embassy/consulate to request specific instructions. At the interview the added applicant(s) will be required to pay the same fees, and submit the same forms and supporting documents as the original applicant(s). Assuming they haven't added a derivate child, I recommend to wait until they get the Interview letter and then contact the consulate as previously specified.
  7. I've seen cases affected by this. Let's say there is a F2A that has been DQ in 2021 and a derivative child has been added to the application. This new derivative will require to upload some documents and these documents need to be reviewed by NVC. Once these news documents are reviewed and DQ, this new DQ date will be the one used for interview, not the first one from 2021. So, if there is a DQ from 2021 and a new DQ from 2022, then the latest one is used for the priority for interview.
  8. Yes it's normal. Just make sure you don't forget when you submitted it so you can track the timeframe. There are two ways to deal with documents. 1. Replace it: Your new document is uploaded but the uploaded date doesn't change. 2. Delete and re-upload it: This will "delete" the previous document and allow you to upload a new one. This option would display the new date. In the end, both cases are valid. So, just wait for it to be reviewed and good luck.! Hope it gets reviewed sooner than expected 😊.
  9. Yes, I was DQd last Monday at 6:30 pm EDT. Hopefully, you will get reviewed by today evening or tomorrow. I'll be waiting for your DQ! 😁
  10. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/HongKong.html Did you confirm your birth certificate comply with the specifications listed here?
  11. That’s terrible. Is it a generic message or they specified exactly what happened? How do you know the RFE is caused by the logo?
  12. First filling. DQ means “Documentarily Qualified”. It’s what NVC says once your profile is reviewed and it’s approved.
  13. I did the same. Uploaded the transcripts from 2019, 2020 and 2021 but only the W2, 1040, 1099 and Schedules from 2021. I’m DQ and had no issue. As far as I know, they only look for the latest tax returns. I’m not an expert but this is how it went for me.
  14. You don’t need to send physical copies. You simply need to scan the AOS once they are hand signed with black pen and upload it to the CEAC.
  15. Thanks! I have a friend that today received their interview letter and as you said, their interview is on October 28th, about 5 weeks after as you said!. I will keep everyone informed!
  16. I just got DQ! Last submitted file July 8th. Good luck all!!
  17. Go to the CEAC and at the top/right it says where is it. here you can see how it says it is currently at “NVC”. Once your case is reviewed and Documentary Qualified by the NVC, it is sent to the consulate after a few months. In my case it should change from “… currently at: NVC” to “…currently at: Santo Domingo”. Have a nice day.
  18. Current case review time: As of 12-Sep-22, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 6-Jul-22. Fingers crossed 🤞 good luck all!
  19. Were you DQd? If so, don't worry about it. What matters now is to wait for the interview and prepare everything you need for it 😁
  20. Just to confirm. - Does the 864 has all 10 pages? - Is your spouse’s password valid? (Not expired) - Does the income specified on the 864 match the one from the W2?
  21. What was your date of submission? Early July? Sad to see these type of cases when the files are there and you don’t understand what’s going on.
