Same here. The I-131 even said my biometrics still to be completed, seems like the processes are all separately and data might not arrive in sync.
Maybe, what we see in the online portal is not updated that quickly.

My I-131 never updated either after biometrics.
I’m sure the status will catch up eventually!

Sign up for USPS informed delivery is my suggestion. That's how we tracked my wife's EAD card after the website said card was produced.

Thank you, I did sign up for it when I first moved here exactly for this reason!

    Hi all,

Just checked online and our combo card was approved…not sure when but says he can work from 22 Jan which was Monday so maybe that’s the approval date. Either way, good news! Hope to have the card in hand soon 🤗

also didn’t write this here at the time but we did our biometrics by walking in 2 weeks before the scheduled date (in case this is useful for others).

now we wait for the GC (no RFE so far so fingers crossed)

    Congrats on your approval!🎊

Did you see a status update at all?

My status is stuck on review and I can’t manage to talk to an agent to check if the card was produced at all or if there’s a tracking number available

  4. Just a quick update on my cases:

    Biometrics appointment notification: 12/16/2023

    NOA1 received via mail: 12/18/2023

Online Access Code via mail: 12/19/2023

    Biometrics appointment via mail: 12/22/2023

    Biometrics appointment: 01/04/2024

Case is being Actively Reviewed: 01/04/2024

Also, @Bri and Carlos I believe you can email the Chicago lockbox in a week or so at lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov but hopefully you’ll hear something back sooner

    Hi all,

AOS packet delivered on 12/18 to Chicago, IL. We didn’t request the e-notification, but with the K1 application, the check was deposited and NOA1 was received quickly. This hasn’t been the case this time around. I’m sure it doesn’t help having 2 holidays back to back, but would you say this is a typical processing timeline? Thank you!

I’d say it’s pretty normal! I noticed it was quicker with the K-1 too, probably because the lockbox receives more petitions and the holidays don’t help

My CC was charged after 3 days and NOA1s (in the mail) were received after 11 days

  6. My husband and I filed in December for my Adjustment of Status, EAD, and AP. So far my timeline looks like this:

    Packet sent: 12/04 (with UPS)

    Packet delivered: 12/07

    Credit Card charged: 12/11

Text with case numbers received: 12/12 ("On December 7, 2023, we received your form...")

Waiting for NOA1 in the mail

Hoping for a smooth and fast process for everyone🤞

I have the same ceac status. After interview it was Ready for few days then changed to Application received then to Administrative processing then to Approved. But in the text below first lines seem to be opposite to last lines. And searching on this forum doesnt show that this status something usual. I am getting confused😕

Mine turned to “Issued” the day after my post!
I don’t think it’s been used a lot before but seems quite normal.

I was extremely confused and worried too, but I’m sure everything is fine and you’ll see changes soon.

    You posted the answer....

    Q: What does "Approved" mean?

A: the consular officer has approved your application (subject to final processing by the consular section that is necessary to issue your visa). When that processing is complete, the status will change to "Issued". However, a final screening step must still be completed prior to issuance that could lead a consular officer to conclude that you are not eligible for a visa. If that occurs, the consular officer will notify you that your application has been denied and your status will change to "Refused".

They're doing final processing and verifications. If everything is good, you'll have your Visa soon.

    Thank you!

It was just a status I haven’t seen often and there’s not much online about it, so I wanted to see if anyone had some infos about it.
Today the status changed to “Issued” and, in hindsight, I get why my question was probably very stupid.

  9. Hello everyone! I had my interview on September 5th 2023 and was verbally approved. The same day CEAC status changed to "Application Received" and today it switched to "Approved" with the below text:

"the consular officer has approved your application subject to final processing by the consular section that is necessary to issue your visa. When that processing is complete, the status will change to "Issued". However, a final screening step must still be completed prior to issuance that could lead a consular officer to conclude that you are not eligible for a visa. If that occurs, the consular officer will notify you that your application has been denied and your status will change to "Refused".

Does anybody know what it means? I found little to no information about this CEAC status update, unfortunately, and I'm very worried it doesn't seem to happen often at all.

    Thank you 🙏
