  1. I didn't notice any option for them to pick it up. I was eventually directed here - https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/niv/information/courier_dropboxes where they list the locations you can submit from. There is one about 15 mins from me so I dropped it off there. Incidentally I got an SMS from them this morning that I have a delivery due, which I'm guessing will be my passport. Now I'm wondering, since I paid £20 for that courier service when scheduling my interview, if it only counts for one delivery, and when they send my visa (all being well) if they will delivery to my home again, or just send to a courier dropbox. I hope they'll send to my home.
  2. I didn't see anything relating to that, what you see in my screenshot above is 2 screenshots stitched together, with the bototm half being what you see after clicking "ConsularSection instructed me to send more documents". I presume that's where you go to start the process of sending more documents to them. I would expect to see further instructions related to couriers after writing in the box and clicking "Send request" - but I'm just guessing, for all I know the embassy then needs to process it before you get to that stage. What I'm trying to work out is if I'm allowed to fill out that box and begin the process of sending them more documents, OR if I need to wait for them to send me an email with instructions of hat to do first. The guy who interviewed me gave me the form which has instructions, but he also mentioned to me that I should get an email in a day or two (it's been 4 days now but that includes the weekend). I wish I'd have asked him at the time if I could just use the form he gave me as the instructions as I suspect the automated email will just say the same as the form, but I'm not sure.
  3. Update - Last Friday I got the 221(g), requesting a copy of my partners divorce certificate. She mailed it to me on Friday and it arrived Monday (Fast right? I thought so). The person who interviewed me at the embassy said that within 1-2 days I should get an email from the embassy with further instructions, but as of now, no email. He also gave me a green 221(g) form in which he ticked a box to indicate that what's required is a divorce certificate from the petitioner. The form has a box with instructions on sending stuff to the embassy, which pretty much directs me to this page: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb So my question is, do I need to wait for the email from them or can I just go ahead and start the process of sending them my documents? I've logged in and had a quick look around and I can see the attached image. I'm a little confused about whether I can go ahead and click 'send request' to proceed before getting the email from them. And also what's the process after that - I understand I must use their courier service rather than using the normal postal service? Any help is appreciated.
  4. So as the title says, today I got the 221(g) and have been requested to provide my partners divorce certificate. We're looking into how to get the original certificate now. I had thought we included a divorce decree with the initial application but I never had a copy myself to show them, and they did ask for the original. I have been told that within 1-2 days I should get an email with further instructions but as it's Friday I guess (and hope) this will come early next week. Has anybody else gone through this? I would appreciate any advice or just being told what I can expect next / what the process is and time frames on additional processing? Thanks.
  5. On this page https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/after-the-interview/ it says: Am I reading this right that I can't open the envelope containing my passport? I feel like I must be reading it wrong because how would you fly without showing a passport? Or does 'passport' here not refer to my UK passport?
  6. I may just do that, I have scheduled the interview now (how exciting - and scary) and arranging the medical is my next step.
  7. Hi all, I'm in the UK. My US fiancee submitted a k1 application in may 2021 for me (the beneficiary). We got NOA2 July 2022, NVC case number aug 2022, and this month the London embassy sent me a letter letting me know they received an approved petition. They direct me to visit this site: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/ I have actually already submitted the DS-160 earlier this month, I'm a little confused about the other steps. Should I just go through them in order? Step 1 is registering with the courier service but refer to an appointment I'm not really sure about? Step 4 is scheduling the interview but says you should do this after you have attended the medial? How long can you wait between attending the medical and attending the interview? (I hear interview wait times can be long) I'm just a bit confused what steps I should take next. Thank you in advance for any insight and help
  8. I think all the jabs I need are listed on the page you linked here right? https://visamedicals.co.uk/united-states/ I have just this week gained access to my NHS 'detailed coded record' which provides my full medical history but I don't see an easy way in the app to find previous vaccines (other than the covid vaccine which of course is it's own section). So I might ask my GP about getting proof of my previous vaccines but they don't have the best reputation. I am also under the impression that there is one vaccine not available in the UK that I'll need to get in the US at some point but correct me if I'm wrong there.
  9. Thank you for all the information. She sent me the I-134 but it got lost in the post so instead she's sent me a PDF of it digitally signed. I've read that signed by hand is better but I'm worried about spending money on shipping another one just for it not to turn up again. Do you know if it's worth trying another mailed one for the sake of having a hand signature? I had gathered a lot of new proof of relationship, thinking it would be needed, oh well. Got the police certificate. Do you know how long it should take for notification of the LND number? Or hard to say? I keep meaning to make a timeline, must get round to that..
  10. Hello and apologies if this is a dumb question. On July 11 our initial K1 application was approved and we received the NOA2 letter in the mail. I'm unsure of the next steps. I am the alien fiance living in the UK. What happens now that we received the NOA2? Should the US embassy in London contact me? And how long should it take? I would be really grateful if anybody could point me in the right direction. I am in the process of gathering the materials for "What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):" as described here Is there anything else I should be doing?
  11. The NVC case number and instructions is something the consolate (or in my case embassy I guess, I'm in the UK) contact me (the alien fiancee) with? Thanks I will check out the regional forums
  12. Sorry if this is a dumb question (or in the wrong thread) but what happens after NOA2 / initial application is accepted? Should I (the foreigh fiancee) wait to be contacted by the US embassy in my country? And how long should it typically take? I am in the process of gathering the materials for "What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):" as described here
  13. Would anybody be able to explain something to me, that's been worrying me? If when my case is finally processed (NOA1 already received, I'm referring to the next step) - if it's declined or additional information is required (such as them asking about something on the form for example) what exactly is the process? And how long should I expect it to take?
  14. NOA1 receipt date 24th May 2021, "The earliest you can submit questions is August 16, 2022" Feels like they are just putting this date further and further back.
  15. Does anybody know at what date I should Inquire about a case outside normal processing time? They acknowledged receipt May 24, 2021. I am a little confused.
  16. Gosh I see today they have changed this page https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ No longer shows what month they're working on. I'm really worried with how long they take that the whole 'have to have met each other in person within the last 2 years' will become out of date (even though we have met again since submitting)
