  1. I've finished the process with my partner up to her receiving her Travel Authorization and she did not have to provide any actual vaccine documents for MMR/polio. when the beneficiary receives their part of the application to fill out, they just have to attest that they know they received the vaccines as a child (basically signing an online form).

she does have her vaccination documents (in Ukrainian) but at no point thus far has she been asked for them.

as for the documents to travel, my partner is going to bring the I134, the Travel Authorization, and the COVID vaccination she received in Ukraine (which is partially in English). and her Ukrainian passport of course.

I doubt she'll need much else, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have whatever additional documents you put with your I134 like a copy of your passport and bank info or something if you're especially worried.

What's the fastest way to get a person these days? I haven't called in in a while.

I had a little trouble getting through to a person. I told the automated system I had a problem with my I134 I needed to fix and it pushed me through after a bit of back and forth.

make sure to put the USCIS call back number in your phone as a contact so it goes through when tier 2 calls you back. the first time they claimed they called me, I didn't receive anything.

I'm still waiting on our travel authorization document to be fixed -__-

I haven't talked to my beneficiary in a few days, but last time she had told me she checks her email everyday, and so far hasn't written me saying she got an email from USCIS. Our notice of CONFIRM date was 5/2. That seems like a long time compared to other folks here. I'm worried I misspelled her email or something.

that is quite a long time. you should probably call and bug them. almost everyone has had at least 1 issue somewhere down the line on here so it's best to call and pester them to make things go more smoothly.

  4. timeline

    4/25- applied

    5/1- received confirmation

5/5- received email for beneficiary to fill out information

    5/6- received travel authorization

still waiting on a call back from a tier 2 to fix the birthdate issue.

Talk to the today and they told issue was resolved but we don't have the document in the notices section yet. They did upload another notice today but not what we need!

I have an interesting similar issue to this where we had the notice for a day or two, we downloaded copies each, but then it was later removed from both of our accounts? pretty strange. seems to be lots of bugs and errors in this process.

Fastest government program ever. Filed on April 27 and yesterday picked them up at airport.

Travel Authorization was approved May 8th.

if it's not too much trouble, do you have any information to share on how them going through CBP went? did the wrong birthdates give them any problems or were you able to get that fixed (hopefully I'm not confusing you with someone else haha)

my partner is very anxious and timid so I'm worried about her going through CBP without me

does anyone know how to get through to someone at USCIS on the phone to fix an error on the travel authorization document for U4U? losing my mind because there's no option to request an error fix on I134 on the website and the automated system keeps kicking me off.

insanely frustrating, clearly someone typed that form by hand because we made no such mistake ourselves

I ended up getting through to someone. they said I have to talk to a tier 2 officer, who is supposed to return a call within 72 hours.

    Hi jjp85,

Do mind sharing which item of evidence you provided? I provided Bank officer statements, Employer Verification of employment and wages, tax transcript and birth certificate. Do you think these item will do the trick?

    Thanx - Kineo

all I included was my passport, my birth certificate, my W2 from last year, and a few recent sequential paychecks. I was approved.

I don't think the standard of evidence is extremely high, in case anyone was wondering. I make a very average wage for my area, maybe even a little below.

also impatiently awaiting the email with further instructions. very happy the first step didn't take a ridiculous amount of time.

edit; I will say that I specified exactly what kind of support I am going to give my partner, that may be a factor (since we're getting married ASAP anyway, I just stated that she's going to have full access to my income).

This form is like the I-864 and I think I need I-864a to put on the household members finances. But I can’t do that online with this program. On this form if you have dependents you can add them and their financial contributions. My parents are not dependents though. Maybe i can list them as dependents and in the notes I can just mention that they’re not dependents?

no offense meant but you maybe shouldn't be filing the form as yourself if you don't have the means to prove you can support her, they'll likely just reject you. if your parents have the better finances, they can apply for her as a friend or acquaintance!

and then if you want to marry and AOS later, you can do that, it doesn't have to be you that does the I-134 in order to marry later, they're totally separate processes.

just giving you a heads up so you don't go through the pain of getting rejected the first time. you can't really legally commit your parents' finances to support someone on their behalf, you're only declaring yourself in that form.
