  1. Hi @Ravinder kaur, I did bring printed copies of my husband's Tax Transcript and Wage & Income Transcript for the past 3 years, which they did take from me. They didn't ask for his job letter, but I would bring it just in case. What I brought for spouse side: 1) last 3 years Tax Transcript 2) last 3 years Wage & Income Transcript 3) Job letter 4) Last 3 months pay stubs 5) Photocopy of spouse's green card
  2. Is it hard to bring a baby? Haha I think that depends on how your baby is normally! I thought it was a challenge because you're handling all your documents while also handling the baby by yourself, but everyone at the consulate is understanding so you can take your time.
  3. @Ravinder kaur You only need to bring your baby if his or her name is in the interview letter. If you do have to bring your baby, only you can handle the baby and no other person can join you.
  4. Hi @Blueeyes1989! My interview went smoothly! I was super nervous because last minute I was told to bring my 1 year old and I was very worried she would be an absolute terror in the waiting room, but thankfully she didn't freak out and actually seemed to enjoy being in a new environment... I don't see this mentioned often, but I was able to bring in my stroller, diaper items and sealed snacks for baby (I just had to get them screened at security). I waited around 90 minutes until I was called to a window to present my documents such as birth certificate, photo, etc (basically all your civil documents). Then I waited another 20 or so minutes to be called up for my actual interview. Interviewer was a very nice gentleman that asked the usual questions like: 1) "How did you meet your spouse?" 2) "When did you guys get married?" 3) "Is this the first marriage for you both?" I don't super remember all the questions but it's nothing surprising! The waiting is the longest part. Interview takes about 5-10 minutes. I thought everyone was very efficient and well-versed with their jobs at the consulate.
  5. Thank you for this! I'm in the situation where my case is already DQ-ed and with the consulate, so I no longer have access to the "add" button which made me feel like the CEAC FAQ was not helpful for my situation. I've emailed the consulate with birth certificate and hope that they will enable that add button again. Somehow I feel so little confidence in the CEAC website.
  6. Hi guys, Does anyone have experience with this situation? My husband, who is a green card holder, applied for my green card (F2A category) back in 2019. I recently got scheduled for an interview at the Montreal Consulate end of July, but during this time, I've given birth to our child. What do I do now and how do I add my child to my application? Many thanks for anyone that might have some insight on this. I'm surprised this isn't more of a common issue since the wait times are so long these days! Best, Lily
  7. Yessss I got my IL today! DQ: 10/07/2020 IL: 6/06/2022 Interview Date: 7/27/2022 I feel like all my documents are so dusty and having to remember what to bring seems daunting. Also, this is the dumbest question, but the Montreal Consulate is at this address correct? 1134, rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest, Montreal, QC, Canada, Quebec I found it surprising they don't include the address in the IL.
