  1. sorry, my scripts are my own custom creations so I don't recognize this error. looks so be a message from the script itself.
  2. USCIS has (based on my data) always "forgotten" about 10s of cases per month. Why? unknown. Some say lack of organization. Some of these finally notice and do a case inquiry (don't Expedite... but rather inquiry) when it is permitted. about half are approved then, and 1/2 enter an RFE. Stats also show that more then 50% of RFEs are never responded to. and of those that did, some are not past the "received" progress seem to get "lost in the shuffle" as well. Again, Inquiry is your friend, Expedite is not. if still waiting, hope your ticket gets rung or watch closely and submit a case inquiry the day you are first "permitted". Send me a message is not clear.
  3. Here is monday's burndown report looking at progress for Unopened cases being opened during the week. This report was generated to look where USCIS was apply activity initially to see when they might reach Dec cases) Obviously, it is lasted long beyond it's initial goal. I am however considering moving this back to a Friday only report giving a summary of the week for unopened cases. Welcome your feedback on this. Send me a message and let me know your thoughts. 5. Burndown compares Untouched cases from last Friday to today. The news is both good and bad. Notice that in November there were many, many cases in the middle of the month. That was a huge group that had been apparently abandoned by the USCIS. There were (and still are) way too many cases in the past still unopend. BUT seeing that some of those were finally opened, and not just into RFEs is a good sign Max (previously untouched) cases opened : 43 Occurring week of: 2021-12-31 Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 183 Week.....Was...Now...Delta..Approved..Denied..RFE Prev.......239....232.......7............1..............2.........2 09/03.....16......15........1............0...............0.........1 09/10......8........8.........0............0...............0.........0 09/17.....28......27........1............0...............0.........1 09/24.....16......16........0............0...............0.........0 10/01.....18......17........1............0...............0.........1 10/08.....14......11........3............2...............0.........1 10/15.....20......17........3............1...............0.........2 10/22.....23......16........7............4...............0.........3 10/29.....27......23........4............2...............0.........2 11/05.....73......58.......15...........6...............0.........9 11/12....104.....84.......20..........13..............0.........7 11/19.....75......67........8............4...............0.........4 11/26.....40......28.......12...........5...............0.........7 12/03.....57......47.......10...........5...............1.........4 12/10.....65......46.......19...........6...............0........12 12/17.....71......70........1............1...............0.........0 12/24....202....174......28..........12.............0.........16 12/31....164....121......43..........29.............1.........12
  6. As promised, each Friday I will post the remaining stats of cases. 12. Anyone know a good investigative reporter who could "attempt" to educate the public on just how broken our immigration system actually is? The more I did into USCIS Processing statistics, the more depressing the story gets. Seems like something that could be handed to a reporter to "make some noise" for us and all of those in a deep state of limbo. Thoughts?

  15. congrats @grumpypiggy those on this board can follow my burndown data in Dec k1 2021 which tracks untouched cases by week. we too in Dec are seeking to be left behind as well. I don't track specific November case changes but do monitor untouched cases in 2021 (and there are far too many)
  16. Monday Burndown - shows previously untouched cases which have been opened in some way. Like my previous post, unfortunately the case count is rather dismal for ALL of 2021 cases Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 14 Week.....Was...Now...Delta..Approved..Denied..RFE Prev.......240....239........1............0..............0.........0 09/03.....16......16.........0............0...............0........0 09/10......8........8..........0............0...............0........0 09/17.....28......28.........0............0...............0........0 09/24.....16......16.........0............0...............0........0 10/01.....18......18.........0............0...............0........0 10/08.....14......14.........0............0...............0........0 10/15.....20......20.........0............0...............0........0 10/22.....23......22.........1............1...............0........0 10/29.....27......27.........0............0...............0........0 11/05.....73......73.........0............0...............0........0 11/12....104....101........3............0...............0........3 11/19.....75......75..........0...........0...............0........0 11/26.....40......40..........0...........0...............0........0 12/03.....57......57..........0...........0...............0........0 12/10.....66......66..........0...........0...............0........0 12/17.....71......71..........0...........0...............0........0 12/24....203....200.........3...........2...............0........1 12/31....164....158.........6...........3...............0........3
  17. Monday Report showing activity since last Friday. Needless to say, and unfortunately, rather horrible numbers. It would appear the USCIS has abandoned us still waiting in December for the inquiry date. I am stuck in RFER and will continue to update until the inquiry date. Do pay close attention to that date as we have recently seen, it can shift. It shifted to the worse recently but maybe (with luck) it could shift earlier. best advice at this point: 1) Continue to pray and hope 2) Watch the inquiry date closely (and hope that your case gets processed before it) 3) Be prepared to file an inquiry ASAP once it is possible. 18. Congrats (Parabéns) Not sure it did as my mom used to host foster children so my fingerprints are on file too. Seems to be no rhyme or reason when a case comes up for processing foe quite some time. But regardless, congratulations and hopefully smooth processing through NVC and in Rio.
  19. Last friday (17 Mar) there were 111 RFER and 55 decisions. 20. Burndown statistics which compares activity from Last Friday to today .... in an earlier post on VJ there was a statment that 100+ cases from Jan 2021 were adjusted into denials. This burndown looks at "Unopened Cases" (i.e. case was received or xxx was updated) changing to RFE or Decision. I don't see this earlier data reported so can only assume it was aged out RFEs that were converted to denials. For the rest of us (especially Dec and Nov cases) the data is not great. down to 10-25% of unopened cases being opened ... lets hope for a little stronger processing next week. 21. Day based statistics ... This looks at current state with a little deeper look into "untouched" versus decided. The totals are a little more accurate here as the script accounts for a few more "Untouched" cases than some of my other sctips. Using Last File of 2023_03_24.csv as control Dec 1: 17 Untouched (17.5%) 65 Decided (67.0%) Dec 2: 7 Untouched (6.4%) 87 Decided (79.8%) Dec 3: 10 Untouched (7.3%) 97 Decided (70.8%) Weekend Dec 6: 33 Untouched (8.3%) 283 Decided (71.5%) Dec 7: 7 Untouched (6.1%) 91 Decided (79.1%) Dec 8: 4 Untouched (4.1%) 79 Decided (80.6%) Dec 9: 22 Untouched (17.9%) 79 Decided (64.2%) Dec 10: 2 Untouched (2.2%) 70 Decided (77.8%) Weekend Dec 13: 36 Untouched (8.5%) 282 Decided (66.7%) Dec 14: 17 Untouched (19.8%) 61 Decided (70.9%) Dec 15: 6 Untouched (6.2%) 65 Decided (67.7%) Dec 16: 12 Untouched (9.2%) 104 Decided (80.0%) Dec 17: 2 Untouched (1.4%) 100 Decided (69.0%) Weekend Dec 20: 32 Untouched (12.0%) 179 Decided (67.3%) Dec 21: 44 Untouched (24.2%) 102 Decided (56.0%) Dec 22: 63 Untouched (45.7%) 62 Decided (44.9%) Dec 23: 43 Untouched (25.6%) 103 Decided (61.3%) Dec 24: 26 Untouched (19.4%) 82 Decided (61.2%) Weekend Dec 27: 85 Untouched (37.0%) 104 Decided (45.2%) Dec 28: 34 Untouched (61.8%) 21 Decided (38.2%) Dec 29: 25 Untouched (22.5%) 73 Decided (65.8%) Dec 30: 11 Untouched (10.5%) 90 Decided (85.7%) Dec 31: 13 Untouched (10.7%) 81 Decided (66.9%)
  22. My End of the week report looking at Wednesday as compared with Wed from earlier this week. USCIS activity remains very slight ( ) and wishing it would pick up. I have posted a letter to my senator hoping to pressure for RFERs processed faster. 23. As having a Brazilian beneficiary, first let me say Oi. (can't say more than that since this is an English only forum) My burndown should show the cases from Feb 2021 as you describe shortly (I do an update every Mon, Wed, Fri and do monitor "Untouched" cases for all of 2021. If those were RFEs then will not see them since "Burndown" is only "Untouched" to "Touched" As for RFEs, I am in the RFER process and will have a report out on this as well. As for total processing, the USCIS shifted from a fairly orderly process in late 2022 to a very indeterministic process as can be seen with my "Burndown" graphs. When they started processing August petitions, there was an increasing number of "cases being left behind" which has only increased through September, October, and November. Oddly, December cases have fewer left behind as even compared with November as of my last report. We (as December) filers are clearly behind the main wave of processing (for unopened cases as well as RFE resolutions). As you can see on by post just above, the waiting for Received RFE returned data is (in some cases) awful. Once upon a time (before my case entered this status), I too thought RFE was a good thing meaning case was being processed. Now, I see it as just as another "wait and see when they do" catagory. Frustrating.
  24. With the average case processing time increasing, I finally pulled the trigger to send a letter to my senator. Specifically, I asked for him (as the Chair of the committee that oversees USCIS) to apply pressure to USCIS to minimize RFER (Rfe responce) to decision time. As of yesterday three were 124 cases in RFER and only 90 decisions previously made Quite a few are 3 weeks to 2 months old. If you are any of these cases, send me a direct message just in case the senators office asks. Would love to use your case (along with mine) to add credence to the complaint. 25. BURNDOWN UPDATE: I had said all cases before 10/22 "were" eligible for a case inquiry, that is no longer true. The adjustment to 16.5 months now means Sept cases can ask but October must wait again. Please pay close attention to Inquiry date or you may have to wait longer (like this latest slip just caused)
