  1. We were Lee's summit ioe09226 group
  2. For reference we are a 09226 (k1) I see in case track when searching that 485 has plenty of "close" other cases not just k1 even in my group ... Best bet for k1 is to use the time-line search here but that is self reporting and not definitive either ...
  3. When you receive your online access code, you will be able to see all of your cases. in our case, the original K1 as well as our AOS, EAD, and AP filings. The myProgress tab seems useless (as you have read in this forum) but there is a documents tab. In this documents tab there is a way to "upload unsolicited evidence" In our case, we regenerated a complete I-486, added a cover letter as to what was changed and uploaded as "Other" Since we had received an RFE for the support, that was also uploaded (previously as RFE response) AND when we had the legal name change (finalized court docs) we uploaded those (as Identity Documents). Finally .... any documents they send to you are listed under that section and can be downloaded (hence, have the approval letter long before it has actually been received from USPS) Here is hoping you get your access code soon ... Some were able to get this from Emma using the receipt number but she has never been helpful when I ask her questions.
  4. @scholes18, I agree with @serret, I also actually had an RFIE for I-864 "missing information" which I know was in the original packet. I would not assume that anything being sent to USCIS does anything that bumps you forward ... Actually, in I-129F days, the wisdom was "don't" ... there were tons of cases where a "Expedite Request" was not only denied but actually resulted in an extension of time. Try to stay patient ... I know I am not the best at this either and we can all just hope to move forward.
  5. Eddie, In our case (in learning from @grumpypiggy), if you answered page 13, part 8 question 61 incorrectly (Should be "Yes") you might want to make an adjustment. We changed our 61-68 answers in that section, attached a cover letter and uploaded is as "Other Docs" to the online account. If you answered it correctly (should be "Yes") then wishing you best of luck for a rapid completion
  6. Totally agreed ..... Our EAD went into "taking longer than expected" ... twice ... Then AOS actually got approved ... Funny thing is "myProgress" under AOS says it will still be a few weeks even though all other pages say it is already done (including having the approval letter in docs) They really should just delete that since it is so inaccurate and generally useless.
  7. Question for @grumpypiggy, @serret, or anyone that has already gotten the approval. I see on Case Tracker that there is "Card is being produced" and "Card is being delivered by Post Office" Let us know (or if you know already), is there a doc added to Case Status (online account) with the tracking No? Don't think I can use just the approval letter to "fix the SSN name" etc. Also kind of curious to see how long it takes to get card in hand. Have heard everything from 5-60+ days) Thanks for your continued support in this group
  8. Weird that Green Card came first .... Think I have to thank @grumpypiggy extra for the idea of fixing that "Subject to Inadmissibility" question that most of us got wrong.
  9. I-485 Approved Today. Still no I-761 or I-131 (work or travel permission) ... but at least the Green will be on its way
  10. Noticed today that I-485 estimate dropped from 4 Months to 2 Weeks. Not that I trust that ... No notice, no documents, no other indication other than online "myProgress" ... but apparently the interview was waived. I-765 "myProgress" is still at "Taking Longer than expected" I-131 "myProgress" is still at "4 Months" Funny to think that maybe she gets the green card before the EAD. At this point, will be happy just to receive any of them so we can adjust the other "Pending" paperwork.
  11. Ok, officially jealous ... your I-129F was done before mine and we haven't even gotten the EAD through yet .... Aiaiai Even so ... Contrats @grumpypiggy
  12. Southern California (would be LA or Santa Ana local office) ..... @grumpypiggy is in Northern California .... But as I understand it, EAD is handled by the National Center separate from any field office. Seems you (LA) and Piggy have already gotten processed .... I'm rapidly sinking deeper and deeper into the unprocessed IOE09-226 group
  13. Congrats on your husband ..... As for mine, I have now (Twice) been in a "Taking Longer than expected" ..... also pessimistic on the "myProgress" as it feels like a roulette wheel. Some say it works (win) and more just see it as frustration.
  14. Refresh the page ... that has happened to me a few times now
  15. It did take a while to actually "get" the letters and the account access code as well. Check my timeline as I have very, very detailed notes when I got a notice of something and when it actually arrived via USPS. Example: 09 Oct 2023 - Online Access Details (USPS) 23 Oct 2023 Yes, the "code letter" was dated "09 Oct" but not to house until "23 Oct" - Crazy I had also heard a number of people as having success with "Ask Emma" to getting the online access code. Best of luck with "Her" as I never seem to have a good conversation with her. Online access does give a better way to see current state and even letters they send (much faster than USPS) but like with K-1, there is still plenty of "Why is it taking so long" and the "myProgress" seems to be about worthless
  16. We had a similar problem .... Except, a few minor differences. First, we attempted to get a RealID. First registration with CA DMV, no problem with Docs but didn't pass the test. Second registration with CA DMV, passed test, but I-94 didn't have 60 days of validity left so couldn't continue AND ... Since married name didn't have a middle name, Nevada didn't give wife her preferred married name so had to wait for CA Court to legally change the name. THEN when we went back to SSA to change the name, they couldn't as there was less than 2 weeks (validity) left on the I-94 at that point. So, now we have to wait for EAD before we can proceed with SSN and perhaps with RealID. Silly
  17. Second time I have seen it .... I to hope it is soon. So many further steps to complete once she finally has something official from Govnmt
  18. Mine said 1 week .... and just now it changed to "Taking longer than expected" (for the second time. They should just remove these estimators ... the estimate is totally useless.
  19. @leva&Brian .... Agree (unfortunately) with Osman ... timeline even on USCIS site is a poor estimator or tool to plan for anything. We are stuck waiting on the I765 at the moment unable to get Drivers License or SSN Name update complete until the Government finishes with that .... aiaiai
  20. I just uploaded a doc ... although as it wasn't based on an RFE, I had to upload it as "Other Supporting Documents" with a cover letter explaining that this replaces the other 485. Lets see if this works (or moves my case along at all.....) Status online said 6 months to next step before the upload ....
  21. Was it that you answered "No" and needed to answer "Yes" (as discussed above) or didn't check anything? If was "Yes" rather than "No" some of us might want to upload an "unsolicited correction"
  22. mine had that statement ... then jumped to multiple months .... recently back to weeks (or a week) ... I wouldn't trust the "estimated remaining time" at all at this point
  23. So who else (other than @grumpypiggy) has their work card approved or in hand? We are officially in the lower 1/2 of our processing traunch now. Aiaiai
  24. Now, I am confused as well .... aiaiai
  25. Seems to be just as unpredictable as the k-1 ... Some get lucky and have it quick (@grumpypiggy) and some (like me) are waiting and have ~3 months listed in thr online account
