  1. According to my records, only 3078 completely untouched cases in 2021. It would take USCIS 1-2 months to just open the untouched cases from 2021 (not even counting the RFEs processing time.) Either staffing would have to more than triple or USCIS would have to further shift the average processing time to make 2021 a priority to finish. :(
  2. Share as you see fit ... this data is intended to help being encouragement as much as possible
  3. Burndown (showing a week worth of activity in opening previously untouched cases) Analysis: The majority of cases continues to shift along and while I don't scan 2022 cases, there is a clear indication that they would be processing January 2022 already. I like many other people are waiting for the USCIS to "open my case" ... Looking back, only ~50% of my case date (Dec 15th) has been opened which is about average for the week of Dec 13-17. All of September (except week ending 10/01) is eligible for a case inquiry. Shortly even this group will be as of Tuesday (2/28/2023). I sure hope December doesn't get stuck as bad as July/Aug/Sept ... and likely Oct/Nov shortly. Now to the data. 5. Thanks @grumpypiggy ... Here's me ... horrible ... Still waiting for anything at this point ...
  6. waiting on @grumpypiggy update today ... I have a micro scan runniingat work +/- 50 untouched cases from mine ... only 4 were opened all day today ... aiaiai
  7. Wednesday's Untouched cases that were opened report. Unlike some of the other statistics out there, this graph looks ONLY at untouched cases that were opened in some way. The data is compared with Friday 17 Feb 2023. Analysis: there is a ton of activity all over the place and a continued inconsistency in a focused area. For those back in Sept/Oct/Nov, there was at least some good news that some cases were opened. RFE as a ratio has seemed to return to more respectable levels and outright denials has remained low. Trying a new format (using .'s) as FB and other posting locations sometimes make a mess of the data As for me, it looks like the local peak has passed by Dec 15th case so I am hopeful that it gets opened soon. 9. My scan data .... Status as of Wednesday with comparative updates from Monday to Today. 10. Nope ... nada yesterday or today for me .... Statistics are being posted soon ....
  11. I'd love to report that they processed tons of cases today..... but .... The scan for today isn't very interesting (20 Feb 2023 Activity seen with my scan) Changes on February 18 2023: 25 - One Denial and mostly RFEs Changes on February 20 2023: 10 Dec 1-3 Monday (10 items) Dec 6-10 3 RFEs / 1 Withdrawal Dec 13-17 1 RFE / 2 Name Updates Dec 20-24 1 RFE / 1 Denial Dec 27-31 1 RFE So basically the same as Friday of last week .... (plus a few RFEs seen on Saturday reported before, otherwise for december, nada.)
  12. Wow... Just noticed I am a "Senior Member" as is @andyb. Guess that means we have been on this board for way, way, way too long .
  13. Plenty of posts to review to get your question answered from a number of perspectives. The short answer, is the USCIS is totally inconsistent at this point in where they process and how many they process ... It jumps all over the place. This was last weeks "status" for opening cases that had never been touched before ... As you can see, it is all over the place. Check your date here (don't log in just use your case number) https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do If ... and I stress if it is actually Dec 18 or 19 as shown here, send me a DM and I will look into it. Way too many people (even the USCIS itself) confuse receipt date with Notice Date. My USCIS even shows two different dates depending if I log in or not.
  14. Yes, I will be continuing to scan well past inquiry date .... here is hoping @grumpypiggy does as well ... As for that spreadsheet, yes it is interesting. The one thing I can't say about it (and maybe you can track down its owner) is what they consider case processing: I.e. if RFE turned into an RFER does that count as one? If then approved does that count as another? It also doesn't give any indication where they are working only the "count" (or am I missing some other page in this data) Looks like I missed the page of data ... still the first question remains about how they "count" activity
  15. (unofficial mini-scan) ... Changes on February 18 2023 as compared to my scan on 2023_02_17 (Yesterday) DEC 1-3: RFE: 2 Untouched:75 DEC 6-10: RFE: 3 Untouched:451 DEC 13-17: RFE: 6 Denied: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Untouched:467 DEC 20-24: RFE: 9 Untouched:664 DEC 27-31: Nothing Observed Untouched:533 As usual, more RFEs (almost exclusively). On a personal note just looking around my case for the last week activity (Spanning +/- 6 cases from mine) shows Untouched = 4 RFE = 5 Approved = 1 (and 2 cases that were closed long ago) Even just wishing even for an RFE at this point ....
  16. Funny that, I was looking forward to your scan ... Saturdays have become RFE day (adding to the total number of RFEs that were observed on Friday's scan) Guess I do a "test run" so I can see what and where they did any more RFEs (case tracker app on phone suggested it wasn't near my case anyways)
  17. As compared with my latest post, this is a burndown chart showing a week (Friday-Friday) count of where USCIS has seemingly opened cases that were previously untouched. I deem untouched as "Case was Received" … "X was updated" … "Expedite (generally denied)" … etc. If an RFE or decision is made, the case is removed from the count As for an analysis, I am beyond any chance of logical explanation. Case count is down this week by > 100 (10%) of untouched cases being opened this week. There is no modality to the trends that I can see. As for predicting when yours (or even my) case may be adjudicated, I could not even begin to guess. If I was a betting man, (not to say I am or not) ... I would seriously bet that the case processing time will be adjusted soon. When does that happen? probably at month end (Feb) or at quarter end (Mar) https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ If you know someone September (especially Sept 18 or earlier), they better get the case inquiry in ASAP or risk a further delay. Anyway, to the numbers: Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 920 Week Was Now Delta Approved Denied RFE Earlier 360 340 20 6 1 10 09/03 52 44 8 5 0 3 09/10 16 15 1 0 0 1 09/17 75 55 20 17 0 3 09/24 69 66 3 2 0 1 10/01 36 26 10 10 0 0 10/08 49 37 12 5 0 6 10/15 118 94 24 12 0 10 10/22 87 77 10 0 0 10 10/29 127 118 9 3 0 5 11/05 191 145 46 26 0 19 11/12 154 140 14 7 0 7 11/19 297 192 105 71 1 31 11/26 264 150 114 75 2 36 12/03 233 168 65 33 0 30 12/10 607 453 154 116 1 37 12/17 674 473 201 132 2 65 12/24 762 672 90 63 1 25 12/31 547 533 14 3 0 9
  18. My semi-weekly update is attached below. Remember that there is a different seed data set used and a different scan time as well as a different filtering done between this data and tranche data scanners. The goal is to provide the best data available (as wonderful or as ugly) as it may be to help encourage those in this board and to make the best plans. As a Dec 15th filer, I too feel your pain seeing only One (1) case worked on even with a +/- 249 cases around mine today. It is hard to maintain hope, but we must as that is our only course. With that said, here are the results for today Best Processing Day February 16 2023 of 87 updates Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on February 16 2023: 87 Changes on February 17 2023: 83 Changes on February 18 2023: 4 Report of significant changes since 2023_02_15 DEC 1-3: Untouched:75 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE: 3 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:453 Approved: 48 Denied: 0 RFE: 21 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:474 Approved: 28 Denied: 0 RFE: 26 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:672 Approved: 18 Denied: 0 RFE: 11 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:533 Approved: 3 Denied: 0 RFE: 10 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0
  19. thank you @grumpypiggy for your efforts here too ... My posts expected tonight and looking forward to yours too
  20. I post regularly about total untouched cases ... grouped by date range. This is also something @grumpypiggy might be able to produce with their script (although I have only ever seen it is an absolute total). Check back for my posts which are issued M,W, & F now for December cases. As for your case range, There are a few November cases in the 24500 case range (I filter these out for the Dec Bar Graphs) There are also a few stray cases for Dec as high as 36800 ... (I try my best to find and include every case there is in Dec)
  21. I am very careful to mine my data and verify it ..... As well as very careful to provide an accurate analysis of the trends. Ad for confusion and false hope .... only the Government is able to do that with any effectivity. There are WAY, WAY, WAY too many cases past the inquiry date already and a total lack of consistency in the processing at this point to have any way to even estimate anything. Truly horrid.
  22. If I see your case in my records correctly, you should submit a case inquiry request the morning of 20 Feb 2022 Step 1: Confirm your case receive date here (do not log in or it will likely give you a later date) https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do Then use this date to estimate the processing time and inquiry date. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ The case is not likely to get opened before you reach the date you can make an inquiry (really sad but this is where we are these days)
  23. Posting Updates for Wednesday (Scan 7pm PST hence some weirdness with Feb 16 details already listed) Saw 1 case exactly one case number away from mine get an RFE (wish I could have gotten one too) Best Processing Day February 15 2023 of 102 updates Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on February 14 2023: 93 Changes on February 15 2023: 102 Changes on February 16 2023: 3 Report of significant changes since 2023_02_13 DEC 1-3: Untouched:76 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE: 2 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:520 Approved: 55 Denied: 0 RFE: 11 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:526 Approved: 70 Denied: 1 RFE: 20 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:701 Approved: 22 Denied: 1 RFE: 10 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:546 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE: 0 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0
  24. I'm not scanning into Jan but from what I can glean from the posted spreadsheet, the decisions were from long ago (just like we had some from months back) are you seeing anyone posting live scan data from Jan 2022? where? if VJ board, I suspect it is a miss read of that spreadsheet
