@Robert Frasher Sorry Robert work has me tied up. Most days i have plenty of time for visa journey stuff. Lets see if if we can find out for sure which one you need to use because it could cause delays and hassle if you use the wrong one. Ill bet Sarah knows. She is the Visa oracle im sure she will be chiming in soon. As for the expiring I-134, ive been told that the gov will still accept it after expiration.

congrats to all the folks who are receiving great news. You're getting so close now.

@Robert Frasher Hello Robert. if its not to much trouble can you update your timeline/profile? Makes it easier to give better and more accurate help when we know your stats. For me, home stretch means my baby (Philippines) will be with me in another two or three months. Because once the embassy gets your case things start moving really fast.

I also am curious if I will need to fill out I-134 or I-134A since my girlfriend was born in Venezuela. She lives and works in Argentina so I am not sure about where to find that out.
Form I-134A is the online version of the form. It is called the Online Request to be a Supporter and Declaration of Financial Support and can be found on the USCIS website. As indicated in the name, beneficiaries may not file Form I-134A on their own behalf. (Certain I-134 beneficiaries may submit the form on their own behalf.) USCIS is using the I-134A to facilitate larger humanitarian programs right now. Therefore, you may only file Form I-134A if you are agreeing to financially support a:
- Ukrainian or their immediate family member as part of Uniting for Ukraine; or
- Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, or Venezuelan or their immediate family member as part of the Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans.
If you are agreeing to support a beneficiary seeking humanitarian parole who is not applying for parole under Uniting for Ukraine or the Process for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans, you must file a paper Form I-134, Declaration of Financial Support, along with Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, through the appropriate Lockbox location.

I also got the email that it is being shipped to the embassy. I wonder how much longer we have to wait to schedule an interview? Are there any estimates on how long it takes to wait and schedule an interview? Trying to decide whether I should plan to see my fiance in Europe or something in September/October depending on the wait time.
Congratulations! You're in the home stretch now.

@Jon & Pau Hello. Unfortunately, the Philippines has many hoops to jump through. Other than a ton of Philippine related required docs and the embassy interview she will also have to have a medical exam, and attend a CFO class. Other countries may have similar requirements. There are plenty of available appointments for the interview and medical exam but the CFO class is scheduling a month out. NVC approvals/shipping have been taking approximately 90 days. So if this holds true the embassy should have the case next month. Then Debby hopefully can get her stuff done within a couple months and then fly out novemberish.

Has anyone know which part of the process we get to receive our nvc number. Is it during case file creation time or case review time.
There are differing thoughts on this. However, folks my Fiancé has spoken with who have gone through the Philippine/USA K1 process recently say the notice was sent by email to the petitioner when the case had been created/approved and sent to the embassy in Manila. You can also get your case number by NVC public inquiry.

Sorry! I saw that page from the Argentinian embassy and it seemed too good not to link it haha first embassy that I see that even links their P3 on their website. Some don't have any specifics at all, mine has a page but not really the updated P3. And Philippines do seem to be like one of the most complicated ones, with even additional steps.
No worries. We are all here to help one another. Yeah Philippines does seem to have many more hoops to jump through. Yay! lol

@Robert FrasherHello Robert. Looks like sarah beat me to it. I must admit though after viewing the info on that site that the process for argentina looks much simpler than the Philippines. I'll do some more digging tomorrow to see if i can find any other helpful info for you.

Hello, friends. Through inquiry, we have finally received our NVC case number after 90 days since NOA2. I've no idea how much longer the wait it will be for our case to be sent to the embassy in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. But hopefully, I'll be with my fiancé by Christmas.
Anybody know when they'll ask for us to pay the fees and submit the forms and documents? What should we be doing right now?
Congrats! your getting closer. Im sure it will be before xmas. For us we submitted the DS-160's after petition was sent NVC. Then once the embassy receives it we will pay the embassy fees. You can do the I-134 anytime as long as your beneficiary has it before the interview. This is for the Philippines though. Not sure if the process is the same for Mexico.

I hope you get good news soon

@WestHighlander I agree with your statement. I made one inquiry at the 60 day mark and was informed my petition had been received. Ill make one more at the 90 mark. Some folks email nvc once a week or more and I've often wondered if those folks get put in the nuisance pile.

@0508 Hello. Yes. That's one of a few responses you will get.

@Gary Rich congrats! youre getting closer

have your fiancee create an account at cfo website. go to Philippines section and post your questions there. your question is country specific. lots of veterans who can help you there
I sent them an email. If all else fails then ill have her call them. I found some very recent youtube vids that mention the required docs needed too.

77days since NO2 date, no case number. We were just told that the petition is waiting entry into the system...
You're almost there. average time from noa2 date is approx. 90 days.

Hello fellow petitioners. I just got word that the CFO (Philippines) has been on occasion requesting documentation proving the petitioner isn't married and can legally marry. I'm researching this now to officially verify it but was wondering if anyone else has heard this?

I was having a similar issue trying to enter dates on my timeline too. I usually log into visa journey with username/password but the only way i could change dates on my timeline was to log in with facebook. Not sure why that worked or if its related to your situation but may be worth a try if all else fails.

The NVC said they got my case and awaiting data entry. What email should I use to ask them about the case number? thank you.
Hello Mr So. Congrats, you're one step closer. NVC approvals have been taking about 90 days from the noa2 date. Your noa2 is 5/30. Id expect to see your approval approximately 8/30. As for making an inquiry there are differing opinions but id recommend starting with the NVC public inquiry webpage. Then depending on the message you get back determines if you need to email NVCResearch.
