According to the website it stated that we got transferred to CSA on July 30th. After that we had several touches and we got the following message:
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.
The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.
My question is, do people receive a letter stating that they got transferred to California? If i did not get one should i be concerned? And last but not least, does this message above mean that it got transferred back to our local office or that simply that it is now pending in California?
Simply it is now pending at the California Service Center ......(which can be a good thing actually) possibly no interveiw. We recieved the same notice online. Good Luck ! -

Was she with you, did you bring your marriage license, and her passport? We had no problems here in OK

Having your GC on hand will allow you to travel and re-enter (this is my understanding). You will have to have this card with you at all times or wont be allowed back in to the usa if you dont have it with you. Anyone else here that could better explain this?

A man goes to visit his 85-year-old grandpa in the hospital." How are you grandpa?" he asks. "Feeling fine," says the old man.

"And the nursing?"
"Just couldn't be better. The young nurses really take care of you."
"What about sleeping? Do you sleep OK?"
"No problem at all -- nine hours solid every night. At 10 o'clock they bring me a cup of hot chocolate & a Viagra tablet .. And that's it. I go out like a light."
The grandson is puzzled and a little alarmed by this, so he rushes off to question the nurse in charge.
"What are you people doing?" he says, "I am told you are giving an 85-year-old Viagra on a daily basis. Surely that can't be true?"
"Oh, yes," replied the nurse. "Every night at 10 o'clock we give him a cup of hot chocolate & a Viagra tablet. It works wonderfully well. The chocolate makes him sleep...and the Viagra stops him from rolling out of bed."

The welcome letter is I suppose the usual and says "This is to notify you that your application for perminent residence has been approved" WOW
What a day! And says in 3 weeks she will recieve her GC. Wheeeeeeww -

APPROVED Today in the mail she recieved her Welcome Letter for the I485 & EAD Card ! Woo Hoo Just one question ....her ead says good until 2009 (?) is this normal?

Illegal aliens get no medical screening prior to entering the USA illegally. Many illegal aliens come from regions of the world that have large untreated populations that have or carry these diseases.

We also handled our K-1 & AOS ourselves. Just read the Guides & Note the Example Forms here on VJ, they are very helpful. And ask/post questions.

We waited to see our case status for the aos documents online (seems to be normal) until after the biometrics was completed. Once the biometrics is completed then you should be able to add-enter your msc case numbers.
