My husband's EAD just got approved today, after 296 days!! We did not get around to asking for an expedite either. I'm so happy we have some movement! I hope everyone else waiting for EAD will get it any day now too.

Few reasons why they didnt say approved on the spot:
background check not completed
medical was just submitted during interview
mine was the latter… don’t worry about it.

So I woke up this morning and found out they have scheduled my appointment today, the letter is not available yet but will update once it is

Yeah i didnt think to read before i submitted the copy lol oh well… i’m am here now waiting for the new form to be signed - happy they let me come in today to solve asap.  I will defo review after i get it

Thanks my dear friend, hahhaha its an RFE my doctor filled out my medical incorrectly. Oh well… was telling my husb its ok, might work out for the better if we get decision after our 2nd year anniversary so i don’t have to pay for removing conditions lol as long as i have ead and hopefully we all get AP soon then it’s going to be ok  

Update on my missing mail. I checked my mailbox today and to my surprise the envelope from SSA turned up. It did contain my SSN number, so I'm relieved to know that it has arrived.

Hey all, I spoke to an agent. "Interview is scheduled for 04-20-2022 08:00:00." (my hubby's birthday)
I was truly hoping for the end of the day appointment haha. Early in the day middle of the week is not exactly the best for an interview slot. 🤣

Contacted USCIS via EMMA today and spoke with a representative concerning my I-485 case status. I was informed that my case is still at NBC and has now been requested for an interview. There is no time frame as to when it will be scheduled however.
 
Hopefully it will soon be scheduled.
 
 

I hope everyone here gets better news and updates soon. My ead has been approved… i dont know if i will get a combo card, i only have my i-765 with an update

Today my status changed to Response to RFE received. 

Interview done, went well but wasn’t approved on the spot. 
We did the oath, she asked me the same questions around crimes, terrorism, etc that was on the 486 petition. Then asked about how we met, where we got married, how was the wedding and if we have anything to give her. We showed her our pictures as a family then said she’s good, nothing else needed. I gave her my medical and asked if she needed proof of joint finances. We gave her copies of tax, pay stubs, joint property ownership. 
we received a paper that said interview done and our petition is under review.
couldnt give us timelines and said if anything else is needed, we will get a notice.
 
journey’s still going, i’m feeling hopeful that all will be alright!
