  1. ***CRIMINAL RECORD/NEED ADVICE*** My husband was arrested in Mexico City 10 years ago. I do not see any instructions for beneficiaries with a criminal record, only instruction for obtaining a certificate of no penales. But what if you have been arrested??? What documents does he need to have with him at the interview??? We were DQ'd by NVC in January 2023. By the looks of everyone else's wait time, he may get an interview in january 2024. Anyone's spouse have a criminal record??? What did they need to bring to the interview???? Thanks
  2. Hi, our cr1 was approved in January. Heard it's a 15 month wait, from this point, for an interview. So hopefully 2024 will be our year.
  3. Omg! Unbelievable. That's so long!!!!! How long did it take for you to receive notice of the interview date and then what was the time period between notice of the interview date and the interview itself?
  4. We were DQ'd a few days ago. How long did it take for notice of your interview date? Also, we're assigned to Juarez even though my husband lives in Mexico City. Strange and highly inconvenient. Do i request a medical exam? Do i request an interview date? Thanks
  5. Beneficiary- Mexico Husband tried cocaine in the past. He will be truthful at the interview. I've seen posts addressing admission to marijuana and it appears the routine response is to ban the applicant for 6 months to a year coupled with regular drug testing. But what about cocaine? Anyone know what the response is for that? Also my husband was convicted of simple possession of marijuana 11 years ago, he didn't do jail time, only 2 years probation. So we are anticipating the ban for that ... but we are still wondering what the response is to cocaine. TIA
