Hi! There. of course you are going to need that I-94. That will be attach to your pass port by the officer at your POE. You will need that later when you file for the Adjustment of Status. stuff like that.

Since K3 ( non-immigrant ) tayo shapey we are grant for 2 year conditional VISA at bago mag-expire ito we have to file AOS ( adjustment of status ) for us to be an immigrant with GS ( green card ) valid for 10 years . Application form is I - 485 and filing fee check @ USCIS site. Goodluck sa ating lahat

2 weeks ba before mareceive sa mail ang 2-yr GC ng K3 after nating dumating sa US or ilang weeks?

Im finally here in my new home June 6. My Port of Entry is SFO, and I was admitted without any questions from the Officer In-Charge. After I presented the brown envelope and passport with visa, he stamped it and I was in. Thanks God!!!

K3 is granted a conditional 2 year residency. So meaning, if we granted visa May 2008, expiration is May 2010. and we can file for AOS until like 5 mos. before May 2010. (But by that time we are already married for more than 2 years)

The Adjustment of Status filing fee for a K3 entrant is $1,010. You can file soon after you arrives in the U.S., so long as the I-130 has been approved by the Service Center.

yah expensive $1010 including biometrics fee, we applied AOS already last day,,,

yah i read it from here in VJ, u need to file AOS coz k3 is non immigrant too but it depends on u, u can file it after uve been here in us for a while to get 10 yr gc,,, (after 2 years of marriage) but u know the consequence is the medical, it's only valid for 1 year... and it is so expensive here... but if u can have medical insurance it's fine...

And then just apply for EAD...cost $340 alone ... (k3 holders are more expert of this than me coz im on k1)

i came here on K1. I applied AOS right away coz i don't want to be out of status...

Pwd ba tayo usap TagLish sa thread na ito nang maiba naman. About sa AOS natin pagdating natin sa US. Nag-aadvance reading aco about AOS and the next process. Ang daming topics/ threads co nang nabasa about AOS, pero minsan confusing pa rin or cguro dahil wala pa aco sa actual situation ng AOS kaya cguro ganun.

Hindi pa po aco nag-apply AOS kace nandito pa aco PINAS, sa June 27 pa po flight co, more probably within July kami magfile ng husband co nang AOS co.

So, cnu gusto pasalubong? dami po aalis ng June. hehe.

My case just received a touch. Those with lightning fast approvals are probably wondering why I might be making such a big deal, but then this is the first touch not actually caused by me making a telephonephone call to USCIS. (service request calls to the USCIS helpline and RFE phonecalls to CSC both causes touches)

For about 1 minute I was really excited that they were finally working on my case. Then it suddenly occurred to me that the touch is probably caused only by a letter from my senator requesting a status report, which is probably the same as paking a phone call I hope it's more than that.

oh i am sorry to hear this story..... i got friend who filed K1 she got NOA1 for long time but sad to say she didn't get any approval from USCIS.

when we began the procedure we are not married

we got married after my interview because i can not go with my husband with out marry him because my parents don't accept that we are muslems

after my interview , the interviewer give to me the 221 g AP and i am waiting for 9 mounth.......

in my second interview the interviewer told me if we got married i say yes

she told me thank you for your response and you are ineligible for this kind of visa and your husband must to apply foe you the k3 is the faster procedure than the cr1

i told the interviewer the truth!!!!!!!!!!!

now we have to began the new procedure k3

K3 flow is almost the same with CR1 range of time after get approved @ USCIS so, i suggest go with CR1 flow.

Note: if u file K3 and get approved u will file AOS and takes time too.....while in CR1 when get approved and in USA in few weeks they will send u welcome letter and GS.

Also my fiance went to the Metrobank in Davao to ask about paying the document verification fee for Delbros and the lady told her they do not take them at their bank anymore. Is this true???

if u are K1 applicant yes NVC and USEM assigned MNLcase# is the same MNLcase# but if u are spousal applicant NVC will assigned u cases for non-immigrant and immigrant MNLcase# if u got approved in 1 applications u file @ USCIS.

Hello, my husband will have his interview for CR1 visa on July 16th but when i check the appointment site it also says St Lukes appt on July 16th 12am..should i just disregard that??? and have my husband go to take his medical exam anytime?

many of the applicants had problem like ur husband and like others adviced let him go to SLEC before his interview. Wednesday and Thurday are best day to go @ St. Lukes
