    Hi

I was documentarily qualified by the NVC for IR1 Visa application on 4th Aug 2022, sponsored by my wife (US citizen). I got the email that they will work with the Islamabad-Pakistan embassy to schedule my interview. Just wanted to ask how much I have to wait till they give me an appointment? Or is there any online portal or webpage through which I can check the status of how long its gonna take?

i was also dq on august 2022 my lawyer said that everyone in july has an appointment in december people in august will either be in january or February depending on your situation.

The VISA officer handed back my original documents and gave me a white form explaining my rights in America, however handed me a yellow slip stating my case had to be please understand administrative processing because of the DOS in Washington DC. No additional documents were required. How long will it take resolve.

    are you a US citizen?

My sister  filed for her husband November 2019 and still under AR status for 360+ days . it is crazy how long she has been under that status we talked to many Tier2 representatives and they said we are in line for an interview which is ridiculous looking at how long it has not been updated. has anyone got an interview recently ?

    any suggestions?

LOL what a coincidence!!!! she got approved today after three years if being on actively being reviewed 🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻😆😆😆😆

Hey sorry i am late...look what I did is I submitted everything you can ever proof as marriage. I submitted wedding photos 35 pictures and where was it taken and who is in it. Text messages before and after marriage 35 pictures with translations. I submitted all taxes and many many things. I don't know if you are doing it by yourself or you have someone doing it for you. I have a lawyer who helped me through everything

Glad it did!! Congratulations 🎊 👏

Djibouti is the fastest based on my experience and some people i met there. Mine after NVC sending the notice of approval and waiting list, it took me no more than 2 months for my spouse to be here... you should be getting it within 1-3 months hopefully 🙏

    @Ramad

thank you for all the information and support I truly appreciate it. I need up hiring a lawyer my second time applying and it was approved without any pain alhumdallah.

thanks again and good luck in everything else

  5. i am in a dilemma

    so I applied in sep2021

    approved February 7,2022,

sent to NVC with a new case # by February 11

all so quick ..... I know some people might think I am lucky but I have applied before and got denied for the same petition for my husband.

I am a US citizen and all that's left is the NVC stage I don't want to get it done now cause I am in school and I thought it would come out after the term finishes so I can go and travel with him to the embassy location.. so would it affect me if I leave it as it is for a few months until like July? I feel like if I sent in all the required docs he would need to travel in a month or two on how quick my application is being processed and I can't handle that right now... :(((((

    any advice ??

Congrats, what is the service center that sent an approval notice? Did you have the second AR or was it your first? My PD is one day after yours so I'm curious if I should hope for some movement on my case any time soon.

mine was also active reviewed on 02/07 approved 02/08 , and it was also my first AR. I think USCIS works on a bunch of cases and updates them all in one day and some are lucky to be in that bunch. however if you get the app Case tracker you can see the cases that were approved before and after yours and its the same trend every month they approve a bunch of cases and than maybe like 1 or 2 throughout the remaining days.

  7. hi im the original person that made this discussion and I want to update

I filled again after the denial and I made a much stronger case and in 150 DAYS MY CASE WAS APPROVED. without interview or extra evidence . we are sent straight to the visa center,

I hope everyones journey is easier than mine as it took a very long time but in the end I can finally say I DID IT! approval today 02/07/2022

  8. : my case was received 09/10/2021

Approval : TODAY!!!!!!!!! , it says actively being reviewed this morning so I thought it would go in that status for a few months and didn't put my mind on it, than I looked at the documents section and the APPROVAL NOTICE WAS THERE!!!!!!!

I just want to say thank god because they had denied my first case(applied in 2019 denied 2021) for my husband and I fought back and made another case and in less than 6 months my case is sent to the NVC center.

I pray for everyone who files to have hope and never lose it.

Oh. yeahhhh congrats!!  I am a September filer but, somewhat obsessively search around looking at others timelines.  Best of luck on the interview!!  Look forward to seeing that approval coming soon!  🙂.

lol I am doing that tooo! so it looks like the faster centers are working on may and we are in June so we should expect an answer within the next couple of months maybe 2-4

Oh gosh! that is horrible! what is a strong case? I thought all we had to do was prove we are married for real. Filing is for my husband. We have been together for 12 years and married for 2. We have a 2 year old daughter who was granted a greencard on entry into the US in July. California sounds insane. I am sorry for your experience.

yea, I submitted all the regular documents that they usually asked for and I also submitted an RFE with ore than enough evidence. they just kept on saying that I didn't go out and meet him and that we are not actually married but just doing it for the visa?!!?!?! I couldn't believe it. its literally wrong/haram in my religion to even touch a man that's not my brother, father or uncle. and I sent them pictures of us like couples do... that should have been the eye pop of the case, but the person that had my case had no knowledge of our traditions and customs

best type of supporting evidence can be

official documents of marriage and certifications with birth certificate passport pictures and any type of official Identification

    Additional evidence to support

    1. co-mangling of money

    2. lease, mortgage, (I sent that now)

    3.kids( no kids yet ;(

4.family pictures with a description of who what when , span of the relationship

    5. social media contacts, messages, posts...etc

    6. pictures of the wedding/engagment

7.affidivits from people who know your relationnship well

    8.wedding invitation

there is so much more and this time I literally gave them a book. lol 😆

    wish me luck

Oh wow!!!  That is absolutely horrible!!!  Why did they deny the application?  I can't believe there is not something we can do, such as rights, to wait so long only to be denied.  I hope you have been able to appeal or re apply.

yes its very unfortunate bad luck I think... the person who reviewed my case had no background on my religion or traditions which did not allow before marriage direct contact. they rejected it because it had unsufficient evidence... I submitted everything they usually ask for and 100% of my family members got approved within 1/2 a year to be honest ...yea there is nothing you can do congress can not use their power against immigration because of checks and balances. (I tried contacting a senator , same thing) they all wanted me to appeal but with the appeal you had to hit all the reasons why they rejected the case,  knowing I will get rejected because I do not have a concrete reason for that part of the denial. I hired a lawyer for like $2k now , my case is in Nebraska thank god, lawyers know what to do, especially smart ones~. I refiled and literally submitd everything possible and I literally wrote a 11 page ESSAY on our life and traditions in my country. I added more family pics like a freakin album with 3+ sentences on each one, and moreeee social media connections, soon I will add money transactions for both of us, although I am a student but USCIS doesn't freaking care .

I am sorry for the rant but it has gotten me really pissed that 2 years went to the drain and because I am a full time student I literally can not go out and see him until the summer of next year :(+ covid+ the war in that country and yet they had the audacity to reject my case . kind of ashamed to be a US citizen if this is how they are going to treat me when it is my first time asking from my own government for help.

but I have hope because my case is 100% legit and I will fight for my rights.

    Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well and staying safe, Glad to be part of this community.

Our lawyer filed i130 through Arizona AZ Lockbox for my husband who is in the UK 15th Sept. We received notice dated 18th Sept.

The receipt number starts with IOE which is as far as I understand means it is being processed online. The bottom of the notices says the USCIS office is California. How do I find out exactly where it is being processed and what the processing times are? I have tried to ring UCSIS but no luck there.

Does anyone's receipt begin with IOE and can you confirm that your receipt number is the first 3 letters are your service centre?

I am concerned that the processing times for CSC (california) is currently 24.5 - 32 months which is an eternity without my husband and being a single mum to a 2 yr old for that length of time. Appreciate your support.

    Thanks

honestly from my view if you are in California and you do not have a hella of a strong case you most likely will not get processed until after +1.5 years. it is horrible. I had my case there and got denied after waiting for 2 years. they are so lazy and literally do nothing. to see where your case is is call the number for Uscis and talk to a rep which will probably take more than 4 minutes to get to. ORRR you can call outside of the hours and a automated male voice will answer you and give you the location of your case. believe me I have tried everything in California, even expediting and he is my freaking husband!!!! got me so frustrated
