Anyone experience this that during the interview, the officer said the case is approved and should see GC soon. However, 6 weeks have passed. There is no updated on the website.

    06/24 - receipt notice

    08/6 - bios

09/27 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

    10/06 - Interview was scheduled

    11/15 - Interview date.

Field office: Los Angeles, CA ; Adjusting from K1 visa.

@PULIN I've noticed that the California FOs make people wait a long time. Have you tried to speak with a live agent or call USCIS about it?

We’ve been in “ready to be scheduled for an interview” since August. There have been no updates on the AOS or EAD. I’ve contacted my congressman and senators and they give me the same info as USCIS. Visa Journey gives us an EAD estimate of 12/26/21. How reliable is this estimate? This wait just to work is unbearable!

@Heather&Miguel I know how you feel. Our case has been ready to be scheduled since August too and it's very frustrating! We just want the interview notice!!!

Yeah, I guess I just feel nervous to call them and although I'd probably get some information like you did it still wouldn't make anything faster either way. Or I don't think it would at least. 😅

Which location does it say is working on your case?

    Mine says National Benefits Center.

@stuckonyou National Benefits Center because our receipt numbers start with MSC.

I have stopped looking at USCIS processing times as a guide because they are wildly inaccurate. I have a friend in FL where they got an interview within 10 weeks and others have waited nearly 2 years. We have an immigration lawyer handling our case in Chicago and he said EAD and AP he has never seen take longer than 7 months currently. But GC interviews are taking over a year. At least you'll be able to work and travel while you wait for GC.

@FayeAlexandra There's really no timeline. Someone else in one of my groups said that her friend who's on a K1 filed in April 2021, and  received her interview in August 2021 in Chicago!

What kind of group is it? For people that filed AOS in June? For people that will have their interview in Chicago? Something else? ☺️

Also, if I were to join it would that mean that everyone in the group would automatically have my phone number since it's on WhatsApp? 😶

@stuckonyou It's for AOS filers who filed in the summer! It's very helpful.
