This isn't the AP black hole (it'd say "refused" otherwise). I would imagine that the message will change to "Final Administrative Processing. Visa should arrive in 5 days" or something to that effect before the end of the week, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Thanks kai. Talked to. My boss today and told them I will have no idea until I get more info.  Hopefully have a text saying Purolator is on its way with the passport.  Then I'll. Let them. Know

  2. Anybody else get their Purolator bag from the medical clinic.  Open it and realise there's no sealed envelope inside and have an un neccesary nervous breakdown?  Turns out if it's electronically sent to the consolate there's no sealed envelope.  I thought I screwed my whole case and my interview is this Monday morning. Eep turns out I'm just dumb

Yes it has been quite the journey that's for sure!!  Tryin tryin tryin to be positive!  DQ same day as you.

Yeah my wife and I have been married 20 years. 3 kids. I have 10 years solid work history is the US. 2 sponsors. I hope to God that's enough. Haven't seen my wife and kids since February. Let's hope we're both up next.  My wife says I should be positive.  I say I'm being realistic.  Never know when their gonna skip a month.

Ah, your VJ information is incorrect then. It says you're an F-1 and your timeline is also not a typical CR1/IR1 timeline. The first can be fixed by going to your profile and clicking edit, and the second can be fixed by editing your timeline (I think you currently have K3 selected rather than CR1/IR1).

Thanks very much. Will have. A look when I'm off work. We've been Married 20 years. I lived in the US for 10 years with them.  We all moved to Canada for a while then 2 years ago we applied for my green card to go back home. If we knew this would happen we'd have stayed put.

will appreciate if you fill up and complete your timeline here https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=389910.

you were DQ'd on Sept 5 '20 and yet you haven't get your IL? I was checking the spreadsheet made by @Hawk Riders, one of our folk was DQ'd also in Sept 5 and already had their Interview done. Others DQ'd upto Sept 22 are having their sched for Interview next month. I suggest try on sending email Montreal or NVC to check your case.

OH sorry early morning typo.  DQ Oct 5.  My wife and I each filed out a timeline but I don't think it was complete enough to get on the spreadsheet

I don't for you but if my employer asks this from me I would just give him the regular minimum of 2 weeks notice and nothing more (how dare they...). If this is because you expect a reference letter and he knows it, that's not fair at all...Your employer don't have any rights to ask for more unless this is written in your contract. I plan to give 3 weeks, which in my mind, is very generous. Again,  maybe your are in a different situation, different industry as well.

Yeah I was afraid to even tell my manager what I was planning.  But since my wife and kids left to go back to Arizona 5 months ago it's kind of obvious.  I told them 2 months ago.  Now I'm in my awkward wait and see period. DQ Sept 5.  Will I get my letter in July? August?  Will I even be approved?  Who knows

This is one of the best news Ive read in a while lol but my paranoid self makes me want to email the consulate myself and have them confirm just in case.

If you go under travel. State. Gov under immigrate you will find this under civil documents. I had to go double check it myself.  Relieved as I'm trying to save money for the eventual trip to. Montreal. 💵💰💸

It's the worst! I can totally emphasize with you.

Thank you. It is the limbo.  When my wife and kids got in the car and drove away leaving me here alone 5 months ago we hoped it would only be til I got my interview.  DQ Oct 5.  Lawyer told me my only chance to get home anytime soon is an expedite request. But if we're literally within a month or two of letters no point. If it was going to be another year I'd move to western Canada so I could at least be closer to Arizona.  But here we are in limbo

I am hoping sometime today we get our IL's
Everyday that passes with no letters is more depressing than the last.

My wife just got done pulling me out of a week long depression over Facebook. Going back and forth supporting each other. I ended up having 5 shots of whisky and going to bed at 8. I wish the consolate read these posts and saw what people are going through with no communication.

  10. Good morning all.  I'm a Canadian citizen who has been documentary qualified since October 5 2020.  My family was saying in Canada and waiting but the landlord sold the house we were living with.  I told my wife she may as well head back to Arizona with the kids and I'll be sure to join them soon.  Here I am starting my 4th month in Canada alone and no idea where the end of this will be.  I can't find hawkriders spreadsheet on this site. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  Help?  Thanks
