In my quest for mental sanity, I´ve been busy the past 11 days  Googling similar cases to mine where people got a "Your case is being held for review.." letter at the end of their interview. Unfortunately, every post I found was either people getting an approval message later that day or many months after, there was no in between. Having this in mind, every day that has gone by since our interview has been HORRIBLE because even though the interview went great, the approval could easily take months. I woke up today thinking why didn't I ask the officer about this or that or why didn't I take our lawyer to the interview? There's so many things I could've done to not be in this situation right now.
 
Today around 10AM I get an email from USCIS and I'm thinking oh well it could be that the case status changed from "Interview scheduled" to "Under review" or something like that. When I read it, my eyes go directly to the words "We ordered your new card - Case status: Card/Document Production" (I-485). WOOHOOO!!!  I was borderline about to cry not only because our case was approved but because my brain can finally rest from the anxiety that this process has placed upon it.

Last update from me for a while! My green card arrived in the mail today... what a relief. Done with immigration for a while, took about 7 months to get my green card which wasn’t too bad, I thought a year at least! Best of luck all.

03/08 I-485 update to RFIE sent
03/11 RFIE for petitioner's last tax returns received in mail
03/11 RFIE response sent
03/12 RFIE package received by USCIS
03/15 I-485 update to RFIE response received by USCIS 
03/22 I-693 deficiency letter
 
No bio so far. 

Hi everybody! Encouraging that neo_ny's seen a little progress. For our part, we're still waiting to get a biometrics appointment scheduled. Here's our timeline:
 
11/23/2020:  I-130/I-485/I-765 package mailed via UPS
11/24/2020:  Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox
12/01/2020:  Checks cashed
12/08/2020:  Received text messages with all three receipt numbers
12/19/2020:  Received paper receipt notices
 
We're being processed through the National Benefits Center.
 
So appreciative to have a community like this! Really helps us to feel less nervous waiting, knowing that we're not the only ones.  Will update the thread if we hear anything.

I finally have an update. My EAD was approved yesterday April 6th. 
 
Now I just gotta wait for it to be mailed, and eventually the SSN so I can actually work again!

Interview this morning. It went fine but the officer complained about the lack of financial evidence - one joint account with multiple transactions since the marriage isn't enough? - and said itd go to review not approved on the spot.
 
Got out and checked online and said "new card is being produced" soooooo that's it! Will write a review later

Good to finally see some progress on here!  Maybe April will be month when all our cases start seeing some meaningful progress... we will all soon be eligible to open an SR some time during April as technically we will be outside of the normal processing times for AP!

I have an update for my case. I received today the I-693 deficiency notice. I am still waiting for my biometric appointment.
 
11/12/2020: Package (I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131) mailed via FedEx
11/16/2020: Package received at Chicago Lockbox
12/14/2020: My lawyer and me received all receipt notices by mail
03/29/2021: Received I-693 Deficiency notice

My interview was scheduled! 🤩🤩 🤩🤩

February 1, 2021 We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, for an interview.
January 22, 2021 We received your response for Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
January 14, 2021 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken.
December 9, 2020 We sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
September 28, 2020 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case.
September 15, 2020 We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.

Hey everyone, 
 
I filed in early November and received a rfe this week. I was already prepared by that point, and returned the package the day after I received it. I'm hoping it won't hold my application up too much. 
Let's hope we start seeing some movement soon! 

After a long time finally got update:
3/15/2021: I-485 Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview.
Now the wait begins.
