Ya, I am not sure yet but hopefully I don't need it! In my prefecture, I was able to get the police certificate without the document from embassy. Just the copy of email from NVC worked fine!

We received the P3 a week after the status updated to 'Ready' so watch out for it this week! Start filling out Ds160 if you havent already!

Our Case arrived to Kyiv on Friday and i received the email from the embassy on Tuesday.  

Start filling up the Ds-160 and gathering documents :)) Once it gets shipped to Japan itll take about a week to get your packet! There are very few Dec and Jan interview slots last time I checked so yoh might want to schedule one soon as you can. Here’s hoping yours gets shipped next week! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

You are correct in the embassy requests it.  The same goes for mine.  But i check the history and see.  If it looks like people around me or within a month of receiving their NVC case # are shipping, then that means the embassy is roughly a month behind grabbing cases.  If @alexmamone's setup was less than 1 month for the embassy to request and receive the petition packet, then I would say since yours is assigned, it will be requested sooner than later.  Hang in there .
My embassy has been taking anywhere from a couple weeks to a month for petitions to be requested.  And the hack I used with DHL shows they are shipping one day during shipping week to Kyiv.  And the last shipment had 2 waybills.  But I would recommend just checking once on Friday every other week.  So check the 26th and if you see your case is in transit, then you know it is on the way and you should receive word from Tokyo embassy the following week sometime.  If it does not show in transit, then you can prepare yourself for the week of the 7th of December for shipping.  I really honestly think that the embassy already had a full load last week and that is why yours did not ship

We were approved today!! Finally received my NOA2 🙌
 
We sent an inquiry last week and my fiancé received an email today saying they sent an approval notice on the 4th of October. I wanted to see my case status change on USCIS before I got really excited and today I’ve woken up to it!!

01/28 filer - sent an inquiry on 10/01 that our case is outside the processing time and got an e-mail today, 10/04 that we have been approved. 😭😭😭 I’m so happy!!!

I’m still waiting too (receiving date Jan 28)! I submitted an inquiry and expect a reply by Oct 22…

Late post sorry. I thought I sent some info already.
I received our noa-2 on Sat. Sept 18th. According to the letter our Approval was Sept. 10th, but wasn't updated to tracker app until the 13th. 

Im a 1/29 filer.. hopefully this is our week 😑😑😑😑🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
